Regardless of who's better, no way was he saving the first one at our end tonight. It was his side, but was low, powerful and right in the corner from inside the penalty spot. Whoever was in goal would've rightly berated the defending as it was shocking. 2 chances to clear it, Andrews trying to take it down less than helpful, but he'll learn hopefully ftom that.

The problem I had for the first goal was him staying on his line and not coming to claim a cross which was in the six yard box that led to the corner in the first place.

Rushworth hasn’t started well at all but 4 games is a ridiculous small amount of games to judge a player on. Sick of us pissing about with keepers every single season. Just stick with Rushworth for the foreseeable and hope he grows into it.

He's not been great but Rushworth is far superior to Wilson.

Rushworth has made an inauspicious start.

We know Wilson's not of the standard to be our first choice keeper.

To change it now would be folly.

Second goal he should have done better. First I thought he did well just to keep it out it was hit so hard

His sweeping was fine. Shit stopping needs to improve but I don't think he's a terrible keeper by any stretch of the imagination

That's the call isn't it. Stuck with Collins too long last season and blew his confidence. Robins did the same with Dovin early doors when he went on to have a mare in the international break.

If that had been Wilson or Collins responsible today they would have been hung on here. We cant keep a clean sheet, organisation of the defence from set pieces is non existent from Rushworth and that second goal today was shocking from him.
questions also need to be asked about Williams our keeper and defensive coach

Still Rushworth for me but very glad we didn’t pay £5m for him and Dovin is going straight back in once fit.

some judged Collins and Wilson on two games. The apologists on here sticking up for Rushworth who has been responsible for at least four goals this season is embarrassing

‘Apologists’?! Fucking hell

No wonder all our keepers turn to shit when our cretinous fans get on their back the second they make their first error. Wilson has been here for 5 years, we’ve seen plenty of him to know he’s not good enough. No-one turned on him after ‘two games’, that’s complete revisionism. Same for Collins who was our first choice for more than half a season and was completely fine until he started chucking it in his own net every week in his second season.

‘Apologists’ for not turning on the new keeper before the end of August

Neither Robins or Lampard felt Wilson was good enough to be our number 1.

Wilson was injured wasn't he? I think that's why Lampard had to stick with Collins when his confidence was shot.

Expected him to be absolutely miles ahead of Wilson, but so far there's not much in it. I'm sure he will improve though.

Dovin head and shoulders above both.

Including the friendly he’s been at fault for at least 4 goals. How many more bollock ups is he allowed?

Been disappointed with him so far but it is only four games. Would give him until the next international break hopefully with a new centre half in front of him but if no improvement think Wilson then has to come in.

Thomas and Kitching have been at fault for just as many. Let’s start Jake Bidwell and Callum Perry against Norwich I reckon.

A mistake. We needed an experience head but we'll have to live with it or send him back in Jan.
