Sheaf did set up Reading’s first goal and as I said he does land us in it once or twice a game. Then again even Hamer can be sloppy in possession, we’ve been a bit dodgy with it all season

An intelligent person at last. Points well made minus cronism. Valid points. Sheaf was our main chasing transfer target of the summer, took us a month to get him on loan (I’m glad it’s not permenant but we most likely have to because of clauses). He can’t do the Kelly job, he can’t do the hamer job. Not for me at the moment. We chased this fucker for a month and he’s 3/10

There’s too many other variables to pinpoint it to that. Sheaf has made one or two hospital passes a game but think his strengths outweigh the weaknesses. That said I wanted Sheaf/Hamer/Kelly ages ago and yet to see it

They started together for the Birmingham game didn't they, albeit not as a 3 man midfield.

Rotherham don't want to lose so will play with one up top. We should be adventurous here from the get go and have three at the back (Ostigard, McFaz, Hyam) with marauding wing banks (Dabo and Giles). Not a game for McCallum as Rotherham are a big physical side. Sheaf to come back in for Shipley. Kelly to sit mopping everything up and Hamer pushing forward at every opportunity. Allen might get another go if we are in attacking set up. On 70 minutes bring on Rose, revert to 5 at the back approach if we are 2 nil up by then. Happy days.

I actually really liked Hamer in that position, we seemed to win the ball higher up the pitch. If we’re going to play 4231 that’s how I’d accommodate him.

He’s not one of my main worries in this squad to be honest. I have bigger worries over the contracts given to obscure foreign free agents none of whom have worked out yet (I don’t really count Dabo in that). Sheaf will get better the longer he’s playing at this level, others like Allen I don’t think will ever adapt to it.

Aye I wanted to see them in a flat 3, Hamer was subdued on the right in that game

Go with that. Dabo was born in this country and played in Holland. Sheaf has ability but needs Kelly alongside him or another experienced head for the next 2 years (doubt we can give him that). Allen will be much in demand in l1 in jan so will some of our fringe players but we’ll foot most of the wages. 6-7 players out and get 2-3 for the first 11 in but money will be tight.

I wonder if Kelly could do the Kelly job after 14 games at this level?

Thank you Grendel Cronie. Well done. Give me the real stats. Games played. Goals conceded when sheaf is playing alongside Kelly and when he’s not, points won when Kelly is in the team and when sheaf is marshalling the midfield without Kelly there. Games played when Kelly isn’t present and sheaf is and points won. Have a day off cronie

Oh dear...

You're entitled to your opinion of course but when you try & support it with the facts it falls down spectacularly.

Games with Sheaf & without Kelly 8pts
Games with Kelly & without Sheaf 1pt
Games with both together 5pts

The goals conceded stat is meaningless & you know it as Kelly missed most of the games against the better sides or when we played with 10 men.

p.s.
Can you show me this "atrocious back pass" that "gifted Bournemouth a goal"?
I think I (and everyone else) must have watched a different game.

I've no idea but I doubt it.
People aren't giving our players, especially our younger players any slack given the step up they've made this season.
Sheaf is decent and will get better.

Seeing Dabo bomb forward and have Norwich in his back pocket last week was a joy to behold. We simply have to get another striker if Godden is out for as long as the club is intimating

A left field signing like Mifsud back in the day wouldn’t break the budget but offer an injection of something different. Sure our scouts have been putting the hours in

Viveash to the rescue I’m hoping. We need back to back wins and we’ve missed on one but have a perfect opportunity within the next 5-6 days. 1/3 of the season has gone and we haven’t won away. It’s time we did but Rotherham first

Everyone around us is struggling for wins (well duh they’re near the bottom), but eventually some teams will sort their shit out and put a run together. We need to have a bit more courage in the next 6 or 7 games

Exactly, this is our chance to get 9 out of the next 15. It needs to be us that does it. I’m looking at this week and saying gained a point and moved up a place but im papering it over. Need to win on sat and against Wycombe to get breathing space.

If you're going to throw personal insults at anybody that disagrees with you at least try & get a basic grasp of the English language else you look rather stupid.

I gave you the stats you asked for but because they prove you wrong you change the argument. Classic.

Ask yourself why Sheaf has played more than any other player, Robins, Viveash etc must all be clueless eh?

So, this Sheaf backpass for a Bournemouth goal... Can you show us it?

you couldn’t even give a lineup for the Bournemouth game because you’re an old c**t who lives on this site for attention. You’re cronie was asked a question and immediately ran to you. Incredibly strange?
