Returning former players

With the imminent return of Gus, we've had a few who have had more than one spell with us. How do you think this will go? Does it always go as expected?

A few examples that immediately spring to mind below. I'm sure there are loads more examples, so please add below.

Les Sealey - average until he left when he acted a twat and refused to play. Never wanted him near the place but his cameo few games back on loan were incredible performances.
Ben Turner - came on loan, a couple of really impressive performances but got injured and should have come off, played on, shame.
Gary McAllister - thought he was better the second time around
Gary McSheffrey - loved when we had him originally, should never have taken back he was dreadful 2nd time
Carl Baker - lightweight, technically good but wasn't fussed when he left. Can't really remember his second spell so can't have ben outstanding but just remember he came back
Michael Doyle - was never a fan originally, but second spell he was mature and a great leader on and off the pitch. One of my favs of the last decade that started the rise.
Richard Duffy (x4) - ok in all of them, never really set the world alight

Gustavo Hamer?

* not including loans or loan-backs that go into perms eg Rushworth, Maddison, Gyokeres, Sheaf etc
Baker came back and did not play a single minute if I recall correctly!

Gerry Daly had some time out on loan before returning. Given most of the squad sodded off when he came back, I guess he didn't get the memo when on loan!

Think Hamer and Rushworth will prove to be excellent second time round
