Match Thread Northampton Town: Friendly (A) - 18th July - 2PM

[Nick]

It might be too soon for Amenda but hoping Tchaouna gets some minutes.

I miss the days of having Trialists for the first team and having to guess them. Lameiras was one at Nuneaton that time!

[Brighton Sky Blue]

This being broadcast anywhere?

[Bugsy]

Ahhh ain't it nice to see these back

I'm going Cov 10 - cobblers 0

[shmmeee]

Is this a proper friendly or one of those we send the kids to?

[MTK]

Feels so good to game a match thread again!

[alexccfc99]

Our last trip there was a real low point... Not when we were playing there but the L1 game under Russell Slade

Probably the most toxic game in the clubs history, I think the game was delayed a good 30/40 mins by pitch invasions

[PUSB-We_are_going_up]

What do we think? 2 teams per half? Armenda and Tchouna to play? No one cares about the result right and just want to see the new boys… but if we dont win at least 5-0 announce relegation and sack Lampard

He's going to be starting against Saka we need to get him ready

[Nick]

Hope they aren't going to use that for teamsheets through the season. Can barely read it.

[AFCCOVENTRY]

Dovin on the bench is a good sign

[Nick]

Who's missing? Amenda, Wright and BTA (From World Cup)

Looking at that, there's still a lot of work to do this transfer window.
