Don't hear it so much now but a few years ago you'd get people qualifying their (lack of) knowledge about a subject by saying "It's my understanding that...."

You operate your keyboard with your cock? That would explain your erratic spelling.

CT have put something up about a Ross McCormack rumour, then in the last paragraph stated MR is understood to have no interest.

Not for me if there was any truth anyway - age, too expensive and doesn't seem to have given a shit for years. Almost certainly an agent trying to drum up interest.

I do worry that we were making all these signing, then Wilson signs a new Bournemouth contract and all of a sudden Bayliss rumours appear and we sell Chaplin. Were we counting on the windfall to bridge losses and as it hasn't come we have to look at alternative income.

The only think that makes me doubt this is Robins sticking around, he's have plenty of offers if he walked knowing his squad was being dismantled from under him.

Think he said he didn't have to sell Chaplin if he didn't want to.

I think Robins has enough trouble saying things he doesn’t believe to start concocting conspiracy theories about our need to sell players TBF.

If we were out of cash he’d have let it slip. AFAIK he’s still saying 1 or 2 more to come in.

I just think Robins is under playing the idea that we now have money to spend.
In a previous article in the CET about the Chaplin sale he says "it gives us the opportunity to do something else", so saying the Chaplin cash may be reinvested may not be necessary doesn't mean no chance.

I think if we didn’t have money to spend or, at the very least Robins hasn’t received assurances we’re ‘ok’ financially, he’d be off.

No he’s saying that if robins goes around parading the fact that he’s got an extra 1 million pounds to spend, teams we’re trying to sign players from will demand more money for their players.

I think he's saying the opposite. The reason Robins is saying it won't is so prices of players we're trying to buy don't shoot up. Or it could be that it really won't be used this year. We have spent money already to be fair.

I fully expect Bayliss to be sold as well. The way the market is going at the moment a Premier League club could buy him for £3m, have him working in the canteen for 18 months and then probably still sell him to a Championship club at a profit. It's so small risk for them.

If I remember rightly Maddison went at the very last minute. Who knows what is going on. But we do know CCFC is a tight ship on the transfer side.

Would anyone want Meyler back if he wasn't on silly money?

Would be nice to have some experience in the squad, seemed popular when here

I dunno, yes he didn't work out last season but he wasn't fit.

All depends if he has done a full preseason

He's only 30 so shouldn't be totally written off. Bit of a crap injury record but he has made 180+ games in the top two devisons that good experience
