People were banging on about their principles and morals being so strong and everybody else being weak. Can't be that strong then if there are so many conditions.

"Franchising and moving clubs is wrong"

(Only if it is football)
(Only if it is Coventry)
(Only if it is Wednesday)

So I ask again where were your complaints indignations when Wasps,Irish,Welsh moved for that matter when Wimbledon moved to MK did you take more than a passing interest? Im going now because LAST is on here don't want any accusations I'll be back later.

So where have those people said how amazing Bermuda is? I think I said it wouldn't be a bad place, but have never ever moaned about the location of the Ricoh either.

Did I say that you had?

But there are those that have and all of a sudden they will embrace the new one as a great place to get to.

and I get accused of double standards.

As for that other comment by RFC about CCC not allowing them to build in the City limits that too is a load of old tosh could't stop them even TF has said so, they just don't want to.

I hadn't had people giving me shit for going to watch my own team at a temporary location then People saying how people only went if they were spineless and selfish, no morals, selling out, supporting franchising and moving of clubs, supporting the sisu plan. What's that, top class rugby moving in? Get me a ticket.

Yes at Sixfields people like you and LAST didn't agree with it and could be found guilty of bantering with people who did go, but I don't think you are him are queuing up for the Wasps bandwagon which in my view is sticking to what you believe and I don't think anybody could be knocked for that could they?

I said throughout Sixfields that if one day they ever said "actually, we are going to stay here forever" then I would be done and give up with football completely as I would never support anybody else.

You said.

Ha so all these CCFC fans who moaned about the Ricoh and what a shit place it is to get to now think it is a stroke of brilliance by SISU at building it in a retail park in the middle of no where.

I am the only one in here who said that wouldn't actually be a bad place for a football ground. So I asked where somebody who says the Ricoh was in a shit location has actually said how great Bermuda is?

You can accuse the double standards when it actually happens

You are quite welcome to point it out when they do say how great Bermuda is though Just do it when they have actually said it with a smug gif

I raided your loft and found this of you and BHSB in the 70's and turned it into a GIF for you to use:

So I have heard that Bedworth CC have to first fork out £6 Million to the highways agency to upgrade the roads before this dream can materialise?
What with all the cuts going on is this really a good use of council money?

Now where have I heard that before

Sounds a bit like state aid to me. SISU, AKA the state aid police would not go along with that surely

Ah its ok I don't pay rates in Warwickshire so let them waste their money, funny how they haven't helped out local teams though.

Maybe they could close down a few more libraries to cover the cost, boring lot those librarians probably wouldn't even notice, then again could be redeployed at the new ground the atmosphere would probably be the same

Not attempting to prove anything, just quoting a positive factual 'tweet' just for a change because of all the doom & gloom I read on here.

Those who read can believe whatever they like but as CCC obviously won't allow CCFC to build a new ground in Coventry, it'll be wherever but not too far away.

I'll support the manager & team regardless!

how can CCC actually refuse Cov planning permission, have they asked?

I'd still probably go but it just wouldn't be the same as Highfield Road or even the Ricoh, this club is finished as a 'big club' either way. Lets just say for a moment the new stadium is real, have the club even tried to keep it in Coventry or have they not even bothered on the assumption that the council would never allow it? Surely they owe it to the club to at least try?

Lets just enjoy lower league football, who wants to be part of the money grabbing premier league anyway? Can't be putting up with all them Sunday and Monday night games anyway.

Theres nowhere to build accept green belt.
That fact alone will stop it in any planning authority particularly with pressure to release for housing.
Ricoh was a one off in this area.

The next two homes games will feel just like the premier league, Sun afternoon and Monday night. Maybe this is sign of successful times ahead. No, I don't think so either.

You are probably correct Italia, but my comments relate to fact that they have never been asked and if they were how could CCC refuse.

I think they would have refused whilst the Ricoh was up for grabs but if SISU wanted to develop a piece of land they would be silly to refuse. SISU are clearly not wanting to deal with CCC anymore given what has gone off.

Dont you think they should be more professional than that? After all, building in Coventry has a greater chance of being succesful for the club than building in Nuneaton so offers the best chance of a return for their investors.

If the fantasy stadium is here the club is finished as anything but a pathetic lower league club

What I can't wait for is SISU's desperate attempt to get fans who loathe them to the core to go to this new stadium. They have done fuck all regarding treating their greatest asset with any modicum of respect for five years, in reality they have treated them with utter contempt all this time , so how the fuck will they sell this stadium to them.

its a total lost cause, they won't go, full stop. The capacity should be 5000 max, the hate for Fisher Waggot and SISU is beyond repair , and the sooner the realise this the better.

the fans have deserted them and found better things to do with their money, everyone knows friends who are doing something else now and are actually enjoying Saturday's again, the move to Northampton caused such massive damage its irreparable .

We will never be anything but a smallish club from now on, and only Sepalla and that fat massive incompetent retard Fisher to blame. If they had treated the fans better some may have stayed on, but no they knew better , they will never get close to getting there money back.

The council and SISu have condemned the club to the lower leagues for the foreseeable future, well done the pair of you, don't worry it's the fans, not you , who will suffer.

Fantasy stadium in Nuneaton, we're screwed. Renting as underlings to Wasps we're screwed.

I can't say I trust the Wasps owners after they've just moved their club from London to here but at least if they bought the club, they would have a vested interest in making Coventry at the Ricoh work and be successful. Although I don't see why on earth they would want to buy a failing football club.

So basically I agree, I think we are going to be stuck in the lower leagues for an indefinite period now.

Many thanks

It would still be close to the M6, but they would need to work on getting people from the other side of Cov there as the buses would be nowhere near as good as the Ricoh.

Yes that man may bring some bricks with him to start off the new stadium.
Mind you Sisu would sue him for being the wrong colour or size bricks.

RFC you really are a twonk of the highest order.

no one believes a word you pen, so for all our sake admit you actually know sweet FA just like the rest of us and admit our club is dieing a slow and painful death.

no new IKEA built stadium will stop this slide, if it moves out of the city's limits its dead to the majority. Fleetwood would be a bigger club if this happens , yet you seem to applaud this.

i certainly do not want anger management I'm fully in control, I hate fuckers like you who think they know it all, when 99% of the time they are proven to be sad little bastards who know fuck all
