Was crewe not in effect a semi final ?In case you've missed it, we've been a third tier team for 5 years now and haven't been in the top flight for 16 years. Not been in a semi final for 27 years, not been to Wembley for 30.
We need to live in the present, not the past. Whilst I don't think we're on the cusp of a revolution, winning the FLT did Southampton no harm, sometimes just a little bit of relative success can do wonders.
