I thought he was struggling to get seats there so was just explaining why he would struggle in those areas with ST holders having there seats reserved even if they ave no intention of buying them .

Why didnt the club just use ticket master to issue tickets for the first couple of matches? While they are in the process of transfering all setup from Sixfields?

Or is this too much like good planning?

Pretty sure this will sell out. Only a handful of tickets in a couple of blocks left. More will open up tomorrow surely.

finally managed to renew my season ticket online. Trying to buy tickets for friends and family on my list... check the box of the name... go to check out, no tickets and £0.00.

System is a shambles.

The club has confirmed it has sold just over 8100 tickets for the Gillingham game, including season tickets...

Coventry City would, once again, like to thank supporters for their patience as they purchase Season Tickets and match tickets for the first game back at the Ricoh Arena against Gillingham.

The club has received unprecedented demand ahead of the match on Friday, September 5, which has resulted in queues at the CCFC Superstore at the Gallagher Retail Park and huge demand on the www.ccfcshop.co.uk website.

To meet that demand today, the club has opened up additional cash tills inside the CCFC Superstore to sell tickets in blocks 14 and 25 when supporters do not have a preference over which seat they sit in. This has helped to get supporters served quicker.

Only because the queue's were so long and took ages to book online.

Just took me 90 minutes to move my season ticket at this time of night as used to sit in block 29. The IT system is a joke.
God knows what it will be like tomorrow. No way am I getting them delivered, can't be trusted, going to send my brother down next week to collect the, he doesnt know it yet though

Managed to get my season ticket which at the moment feels like a miracle but the website won't let me update my address, anyone else managed it? Logical answer would be call the club but for some reason I'm not confident they'll pick up....

To be fair they have given you a couple of days pre-rush to move your season ticket.

Let's everyone calm down a little. More blocks will be opened tomorrow. System was always going to creak with the demand. Just have to be patient and it will work.

By the way, if you don't want delivery will have to go into the shop to buy. Believe online purchases this week are compulsory delivery - which makes sense.

Sure whoever is in the middle won't mind moving one space (if it's just one person).

Not everyone's first choice but plenty together in block 33, family stand.

Most the East and West stands sold out now. Surely open North and South tomorrow. Wonder if many seats still reserved for ST holders who haven't taken up the offer yet? If so, will need to release them soon presumably.
