Regarding the 5 people who drove a car at speed on the wrong side of the A66 and killed two police officers I’ve seen some media saying there are 7 victims. There aren’t. There’s two and the other 5 are dead - good

Agree.

I feel for the police officers families in all of this.

Shame they didn't hit a tree and just kill themselves.

they were taking videos a few days ago driving in a field - they could have run one dog walkers or animals and couldn’t give a fuck. Instant death penalty. I hope actually they lived for a few moments while the life ebbed away

There’s boy racers who speed up and down the road outside my house all evening, sometimes spraying water at each other through the windows.

If they want to end up dead doing that then fine, but sooner or later someone innocent will get hurt.

Seems like they had connections to an organised crime gang, and also had a list of priors as long as your arm! The world's a better place without them.

Agree no loss at all those 5 kids dying infact it’s actually a good thing. Real shame that the two coppers went as well . The local community up there need to have a word with themselves I know there’s fuck all jobs but jeez

It's incredibly sad. They shouldn't be celebrating the lives of these kids, they should all look upon the incident as a wake-up call and a harsh lesson.

If you keep driving around the streets at 100mph, it's always going to only end up one way. The loss of your life, or the loss of the lives of others.

The flares and balloons thing is just nonsense.

RIP to the two police officers who died in the collision.

It's how their brains work. Scum

Crash on the Warwick Road at about 5:45 last night. Road closed, two air ambulances landed in the field next to the road. Still closed this morning.

Local facebook group has people posting about someone flying down the A46 right before this and hitting other cars.

Wouldn't be bothered at all if these people only took themselves out but that's never the case.

Mandatory prison sentence for those that don't stop for police

Yet another innocent person harmed due to these wankers!

Apparently it was a police chase.

As for Teeside, it looks like its spurred the police up there into a clean up operation there picking up the local shitheads so hopefully some good can come from a horrible incident if nothing else.

State of this

The police have allowed this type of thing for years though. When somebody dies on a motorbike you get about 200 of them, chavs everywhere, drugs, balloons etc "paying their respects" and they can.

People just act like cunts and say "paying our respects" as an excuse. Get to fuck.

Shocking isn't it? I think our police are losing the battle against criminal gangs. It's happening round here in Worcestershire too, with kids in balaclavas on motorbikes terrorising people, car key thefts, etc. The new PM needs to send a message.
The knobs on bikes know the police won't chase them. They can pretty much do what they want.

Get them chased, if they die they die

There's a little gang of scrotes round here - they invaded someone's garden, tried to steal their car and bikes, then just sat there taunting the occupiers. The guy then threatened them so they rode off, and he chased them in his car. They were allegedly run off the road and the guy attacked them with a lump of wood. All a pack of lies - but HE got arrested for "attempted GBH". The police had ample opportunity to arrest these scumbags (Evesham's most/least wanted, depending on your point of view) in this guys back garden but did FA and arrested the bloke who was trying to defend his property. Totally useless. Two PCs to cover 76 villages across South Worcestershire.

Not sure where this should go, but couldn't sleep and started reading about this Lindsay Clancy case.

What the fuck is wrong with people.

USA the most highly medicated country in the world, whatever happened to don't do drugs.

Being on drugs or struggling with hormones is not an excuse for murdering 3 children.

The jury has a difficult task in trying to decide how to apply legal definitions of insanity to this case. Go one way and you could allow mass murderers the chance to escape accountability, go the other and we could go back to treating insane people the same way as those of sound mind.

It is not a difficult task at all. If they want to argue her hormones played a role then you'll have to reshape the whole of society. She killed her kids. She admitted it. Life in jail at best. Finished.

If someone has a psychotic episode are they still criminally accountable?

The US has never seemed to have had a problem with that last part.
I watched a documentary on Dahmer some years ago and something one of the Milwaukee sheriffs working on the case said about Dahmers failed insanity plea stuck with me. It was something like…”of course it begs the question just how many people you can kill, fuck, then eat in the state of Wisconsin before you are considered insane”.

Ed Gein was I think also in Wisconsin but was declared insane.

Is that right? Interesting.
I seem to remember the definition was something along the lines that Dahmer wasn’t insane as he knew what he was doing was wrong.
Which feels sort of tenuous. Maybe it’s not.

Dhamer was considered responsible for his actions and knew exactly what he sss doing even though the actions were insane. Gein was of very low intellect with considerable parental abuse which triggered the actions / he was actually only charged with two murders.

So to bring back to the case described above, the jury has to decide whether or not this woman knew what she was doing at the time she did it, and could tell right from wrong.

To me that doesn’t seem straightforward.

As long as they're being made and sold by pharma companies so shareholders get a nice payday, drugs are fine.
