Baffling that he won’t even start Tchaouna in a cup game
If we're back in this formation I assume he starts in the league, which makes me worried about which other players he's still planning on starting.

He is one player this forum has overdone on expectation. He is put into everyone's starting eleven but we haven't seen him play much. It may well be that he isn't that well rated. Who knows. Us as fans can't really comment at this stage.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like you've put out an almost stronger starting 11 than against Brighton? Minus the GK and ST maybe
In places we have players we wanted to see starting but the weak areas in this team are absolutely minging

I've seen enough from him to think he warrants starting out on the right instead of Rudoni or Sakamoto.

You must not have watched Plymouth if you think he will do a job defensively.

That right hand side line up got hammered by League 1 Plymouth. Lati got the absolute runaround by a Plymouth right back out of position and their winger was a spurs loanee to be fair.

They are up against Ruggeri and Hemmings tonight.

Look, I’m still on my second train of the commute home and I then need to get to the ground from the station.

And I ideally want a pre match beer (looks like I’ll need it).

Forgive me for trying to find some hope!

Hopefully better than Plymouth.

he and MVE were a big aspect of our success last season - playing with lati is an entirely different concept

Happy enough with the team. It's a heavy workload on MVE and risk so to be fair understand Lati playing. He isn't that bad anyway, played right back at Wolves in the cup 👌🏻

Yes Lati couldn't overlap a sloth

Be careful where you park. Never seen as many traffic wardens about

genuinely, a lot is riding on Cherif and Gboho being decent. If not, then we’re fucked this season.
I'm excited about Gboho, think he's going to be a top player for us. But massive pressure on a 19 year old lad with just 6 career league goals to his name, in a new country, in a new league, in a struggling side.

Disagree. He's put a couple of crosses in and some on this forum act as if he's our best player. He's largely gone under the radar, but like a lot of our new signings, we haven't seen enough of him to make a fair judgement.

Cost us a goal in that game didn't he?
Yes we played wing backs that game and he absolutely ballsed up for Wolves' equaliser

He can shoot which is an improvement.
