Dishonest from whom?

I don't recall hearing anything official from him, just things from people with connections in the club (and more fool anyone who gives anything someone like gimoc says credence).

I think he clearly enjoyed his time here and has affection for the club, but I don't think there was confirmed dishonesty from him, was there? Rumours he wanted to stay seemed nothing more than hopeful hearsay.

He pissed off from here when one of the PL’s worst ever teams came calling, but has stayed to help them get back up.

Ok, but I'm not sure how that's linked to what I've said.

I'd imagine that he was disappointed that only Sheffield United met his valuation, but not sure how that relates to him leading us on regarding staying.

He *may* have been, but from what I recall, all the comments on him wanting to stay, or about wanting to be near his kid, or anything else regarding him, came from nothing more than internet rumours.

Well it’s an explanation of why he gets some ‘hate’ from your typical football fan even though from his perspective a move was a no brainer.

You are right but on this forum hamer gets more hate I would say.

The anti clappers are worse than the clappers in terms of cringe.

Either way both helped us alot and we shouldn't hate them. Unless the score in playoff final Vs us...
