Some of those are really surprising. In hindsight we over-rated him here but for him not to have many progressive carries sounds like a different player.
request for rudi to recreate this if we get promoted!Rather have Rudi no question at all but who can ever forget COH's Pump it Up or the second goal against Man U or the game against Leicester ? Be kind to the departed and then laugh your nuts off when Sheff are beaten by Bristol C![]()

i remember reading some stuff from Huddersfield saying "thanks for paying over the odd for an average player" etc, wonder what they think now. Some of those are really surprising. In hindsight we over-rated him here but for him not to have many progressive carries sounds like a different player.
Does he not fit into the way they play or something?
I'm also surprised Rudi's pass completion is so low, is this bought down by being a set piece taker?

You gotta fight, for your right...View attachment 43033
Hard to take him seriously anymore, better suited to Blackpool Tower if I'm honest.

Same with Torp, Shame he got injured when he did.I love Rudy
The best thing to happen to Rudy is Frank becoming his manager. You can now see a lot of what FL did as a player in Rudy’s game, obviously not as good as Frank, well not yet, but the effect of FL on Rudy game has taken him up at least one level, maybe more.
You can see a bromance developing between them too.

Aged well.TBF posters here can only compare O'Hare last season with Rudoni this, and O'Hare outperforms him on the majority of metrics.

I don't care too much about how O'Hare is doing for Sheffield United as they're a different team playing a different system.
It was fact at that time, and remains fact that at that time their records were comparable.Aged well.
Factually, yes.It was fact at that time, and remains fact that at that time their records were comparable.
Factually, yes.
It was pretty obvious that Rudoni has much much more about him though, wasn’t it?
Except of course on sartorial issues.Factually, yes.

He’s played in 44 games and has started 38 of them.Rudoni has grown as a player under Lampard, and is fast becoming a premier league quality player.
I'd say O'hare hasn't flourished as well as we might of expected at Sheffield Utd, his return of 2 goals in 44 appearances is very poor, and the fact that he's no longer a regular starter suggests that he's not really suited to the style of play.
If Sheffield utd don't go up I wouldn't be suprised to see both O'hare and Hamer move on.
No longer starts in the "must win games"He’s played in 44 games and has started 38 of them.
I don't think O'Hare would go anywhere, he reeks of Championship and that's where they would be. I would think Hamer would go to a low end Prem club but then i thought that last summer. Would have been nice if he had have done as he's clearly the one that makes them tick.Rudoni has grown as a player under Lampard, and is fast becoming a premier league quality player.

So he's been a regular in the side all season then.No longer starts in the "must win games"
On the bench last night,
Didn't get off the bench in the "must win game" against Burnley which was the game that ended their automatic promotion chances. Prior to the Burnley game he played 90 minutes only once in 7 games.
He did start in the last 2 games of the season where some players were rested ahead of the play off games.
Oh jesus! So he's been a regular in the side all season then.
Why let something as small facts get in the way, eh?Oh jesus!
Ok mate, have it your way, he's a regular.
I'm really not arsed.
Great dummy in the build up to the second and fantastic finish for the third. Big game player! Let’s see if Rudoni can turn up in the biggest games too.
I think you'll find he already has, two cracking goals against Middlesbrough.
He was up against a deflated ten men. Flat track bullyThought O'Hare was the best I have seen him play for them. He is very good at the quick pass and move. He would make a great 5 aside player. Just struggles with the longer ball and has very little pace. This limits his role within teams.
I've read that a couple of times on here. I think he's the exact opposite, in that he only really turns up for big games. Some of his best displays for us were in games that mattered and and even performed in his cameo last night. He was up against a deflated ten men. Flat track bully
He's a hard player to justify in the sense that his goals and assist stats have never been good. But I always felt for us where he shone was basically being a huge nuisance - he helped us win the ball high up the pitch and would often be the cause of a counter. Would win a lot of fouls (referee permitting). He'd be niggling around any loose ball or player already under challenge. He'd be up for moving the ball quickly forwards - but as we know in the final third his decision making and execution could be really poor.
He's still pretty young and you imagine he could improve still if he can stay injury free.
Fabulous finish in the play off gameAs counterintuitive as this sounds, he’s a bit of a defensive 10. Phenomenal presser (pre-injury at least) and decent but not spectacular technical ability.
