It's just a gut feeling but will he rest Hamer today, put him on the bench? If so, then is it a straight swap out for Sheaf? Feel that would weaken us. But filling the midfield with an extra player may work better than the two up top for this away trip, and therefore think we may see james come in to add extra legs in there, so Hamer can get further up the pitch and do less tiring leg work? Walker up top looking for O'Hare and Hamer's support.
If he plays Sheaf and puts Hamer on the bench, with the same two up top, I don't think we will be as effective (just like Swansea)

Really interesting to see what Robin's picks today. Dabo of course must start.

Hmm, surprising selections and players coming on to impact? 🤔

Wilson
Østigård McFadz Hyam
Pask Sheaf Kelly James McCallum
Biamou, Walker

S: Maroši, Dabo, Rose, Eccles, Hamer, O’Hare, Bapaga, Godden (surprise!), Györkeres

I honestly can’t see Blackburn losing 6 games in a row. We don’t get that kind of luck. It will be a tough game and their attack is pretty pacy. They will be looking forward coming up against Hyam and Fadz with their concrete boots.

Need to stand on top of any free kicks we concede, so they don't slip the ball through for AA, like that Cardiff debacle for Murphy's goal.

I suspect we'll see one or two surprises in our starting 11 today
Couple of players possibly need a rest but could come on to make an impact at some point
Bakayoko or Gyokeres for Biamou. Sheaf for Hamer.

Just thinking who else is looking tired.🤔

As you say"surprise", maybe the inclusion of Eccles?

Not a chance in hell Ohare and Hamer won't start. They were taken off with an eye to the hectic schedule, and tbf we have a decent back ups on the bench.

We need More goals from midfield to help our strikers. So the likelihood of dropping Hamer is ridiculous. He's our joint top scorer in league.

Eccles is a good shout. Deserves to be on the bench and get 20 minutes on the pitch.
I think Hamer will be rested from the starting 11
All will be revealed in 20 minutes.

It's a flat 532 then? Or is shippers playing attacking midfield?

Hamer had a difficult spell, a rest might do him good, o hare runs himself into the ground every match same again, rest could do him good.

We will win

can't believe he's not starting O'Hare. The lad must be knackered, that's all I can think of.

Personally think it's to have a bench of actual game changers I guess. Bringing Hamer and O Hare on against tired legs may be more effective. Might be 4-0 by then though haha.

Last game when we were losing we brought on James and Sheaf. Both good players but hardly going to score or create the winning goal.

I wasn't expecting to see so many changes, Dabo obviously, James for Hamer possibly but i didn't see Shipley coming in for O'Hare.

Neither of our most creative players. Hopefully we bore Blackburn to death and then we bring on O’Hare and Hamer to knock them over.
