We went into the league campaign with only Fadz having played fairly regularly at this level.

We went into the league campaign with the second lowest budget and a tiny squad in terms of quality

Horrific luck with injuries has hampered this already thread bare squad

Everyone expected us to be in a relegation dog fight due to all of the above circumstances.

the over reaction by people is pathetic

I think it's that there's a good team in there. We aren't a bad team, we just can't score at the moment.

6 points clear. They have two games in hand. Big difference is this is the bottom half of the table and Rotherham winning two is unlikely.

It's the way we're going about it.

We aren't even putting up a fight.

Getting outplayed is one thing, but by and large we aren't. We are more competitive ability-wise than people think.
The problem is goals win games. Ability wise we are miles behind up front to most sides on who we presently have available. We don't have a pot of gold to spend on a striker.

Barnsley are dropping

Was to be expected with the three teams we’ve just played (Norwich, Swansea, Watford.) and the way we approach games, kamikaze football against top teams is just silliness, but our head coach as earned the right to play nincompoop tactics against the top teams, by beating the teams below us, doing that makes the games against the top teams a free hit. I do wish he’d approach the games against the better sides with a degree of caution, but if he wants to attack teams, play three up front, and have his defensive line in the middle of the pitch, he earned the right to do so, and in the last three games we’ve only been beat because the opposition we’re clinical with their chances due to that extra quality they have, and us being extremely wasteful due to the lack of that quality we have. Still we’re very exciting and entertaining to watch, even though it’s very predictable that the top 6 sides will beat us.

We started out conceding too many, mainly fixed that but at the cost of losing much of our attacking threat, compounded by our two first choice strikers being out injured.

Some of the players need to spend a lot more time on finishing. We're getting some good chances but missing them.

Before we get too depressed about how we are doing, or how some think MR is doing (and I think we're doing ok, given our resources). it could be worse (and I say that without mocking them)

If we sacked Our manager we wouldn’t be able to afford or attract anyone better. What do people seriously expect?

Sorry but this is not true. We're putting up a fight we're just getting beaten by teams that a better, quicker, faster, more clinical than us.

People have been saying it all season. When we pick up a win its apparently a fluke or its because the opposition gifted it to us.

When one of our relegation rivals picks up a result its apparently because they're putting up a fight and showing belief.

Our last half a dozen performances have lacked any real desire to win. That comes from the manager, but you see the physical effort of the players not being good enough in some cases. Everyone needs to accept that mistakes happen, and that our forwards will miss chances, but lack of desire is another thing. When you combine them all it is agonisingly frustrating seeing us getting sucked back in to the bottom.

We have seen in some games that we can compete and to say 'well we have a shit budget what do you expect' is not a good enough excuse to say should we get relegated. The season is dynamic, games are dynamic. You cannot say you would be happy to lose by one goal to a team you consider better, only then to go 3-0 up and lose 4-3.

We should have more points than we do and we are better than some make out. We are just failing to show that, and for the record, yes, I think injuries have also hampered us considerably.

Make that 4 now, Rotherham beating Stoke.

We cannot score and leaking goals like a colander.

Sleepwalking into the bottom 3, Forest Rotherham Derby Wednesday all on decent form.

starting a thread like this is always a risky strategy. Doubling down on trying to be an edge lord by typing the title in alternate lower case/upper case letters is particularly bold but risky move.

Alas in this case it has made the OP look like twice as big a c**t.

I can't think of any game this season where players have shown lack of effort. The opposite in fact, shown by how many times we have come back from a goal down.

Not at all you pair of bell ends.

Im pointing out that despite the abuse thrown at me for the thread it wasn't baseless. Few on here been saying we're in trouble but the blinkers are truly on for a lot of you

Forest finding form?

Won tonight, yes.

Last game 0-0 v Barnsley, before that, lost 5-1 to Swansea in the cup and game before that, lost 2-1 at home to Middlesbrough.
