I can't believe some of the comments about Hummel! Yes the quality hasn't been amazing - they do need to sort that out.

But overall, they've got the majority of our kits spot on the last few years. I genuinely think they've done great with the kits. Lots of nice little touchs, bespoke elements and not a template kit in sight.

Just improve the quality and stick them.

Hummel at their worst is a million times better than the off the shelf Nike shit we had and before that there was some pretty ropey Puma kits. Who do people want us to change to?

I know others have, but I've never had any quality issues with any of the Hummel shirts. Couple I've not been keen on, but that's going to happen when you don't get generic template shirts (aside from a couple, which have been template).

From a design perspective, I think Macron and Kappa are about the best. Both fit really crap if you're not built like an athlete though.

As I'm not a child I don't buy football shirts so experience of the Kits is limited to the 2 free ones but the quality of them is really bad.

The stadium one is like a plastic bag.

Actually, if it wasn't Hummel I'd probably go with O'Neills. Keep the bespoke element, decent quality & decent fit (similar to Hummel).

I've seen O'Neills produce some decent shirts for Irish and Scottish teams, but I haven't been impressed with their stuff for Bristol City. To be fair, the first one was a rush job after the old Hummel licensee went bust.

Any news on this seasons main shirt sponsor? I see Jaguar on one of the made up designs above but suspect that's just wishful thinking by the poster

A lot of their fans don't like it ,they traditionally have an all green shirt and Hummel have made the sleeves white

I can't imagine that Hummel have final say on ANY kit that they design. They must come up with multiple options for each club to pick from and or tweak.

Some one from St Etienne must have signed off on the design. Its hardly Hummels fault no one there said "....erm, can we make the sleeves green too?"

Yeah they work with the club on the design. Which means the club has just as much input as Hummel do.

St Etienne while usually being all green tops have had hoops and stripes before. It's not particularly radical the design and as you say the club have okayed it.

It looks really nice.

100%. Just bored and saw someone saying car company on here. Then thought what it came up with was hilariously shit enough to post.
