Thing is about season ticket holders they have nothing to complain about because if you pay £24 a game as a standard adult ticket price it would cost £552 for 23 games, so by charging £5 for the odd game, season ticket holders are still quids in per game
Not heard a single season ticket comaplain about this initiative. I think its fantastic.

I'm not moaned about it and have never thought to. It's a great initiative from the club and it should be applauded. As STHs we choose to stump our money up front and get compensated with first choice on Cup games, etc.

I'm assuming most of the North Stand is taken up. I asked if they were extending the tickets for school outside the Cov area (Nuneaton, etc) and was told no - all the tickets had been taken up by Cov Schools.

So whats the North hold? 7000?

They will all be facing the big screen! hopefully they can all join in the SKY BLUE SONG if someone uses their initiative and puts it up on big screen !

Not complaining but I'm a season ticket holder living in Bedworth and have no access to a free child ticket for this game. (Although none want to go anyway).
So .......
I'm bringing my mate who is an Aston Villa fan.

This is sounding like more than 20,000 in that case.
How many away fans are expected?

Just spoken to the ticket office
the official number is now around 18000
They are expecting this to increase significantly over the next 9 days

They must be counting all the free tickets handed out as being used. I have absolutely no idea what the attendance will be but there must be at least 3,000 between the away fans and the scoreboard. For it to be 28,000 that means basically every other seat in the stadium is sold and it doesn't look like anywhere near that on ticketmaster.

That makes it about right. 7-8k sold in that North stand (or given away free).

Blocks 23 and 24 have significantly almost 80/90% full compared to yesterday.

Not sure how much corporate holds which is sold out. and you would think Accrington would bring plenty for £5 quid.

Lets hope all the kids turn up.

It should even entice the NOPM crowd, at that much per ticket I doubt there is much leftover once matchday costs are taken into account.

I wonder how Accrington fans will feel playing in a league 2 game in front of a full Ricoh?
Going to be a great day if we can achieve it.

20,000 sold?! That is incredible with over a week to go. With the fact it is only a tenner on the gate, this could be one of our highest ever crowds.

Looking online and there definitely isn't 20,000 sold even with 7000 tickets being given for free.

It looks less than the Stoke sales did the night before that game.

Online it looks like 7000 tickets sold in East stand out of a possible 12/13k out (Roughly)

2k main stand/corporate
7k Freebies
500 Acc?

that's 16K not sure if its anywhere near 20k

Yes I can imagine Stoke was very full. we must have had 11k in the East stand that day. looks like only about 7k so far in East stand.

Still well over a week to go! so I imagine the East stand will be sold out by then!
