In which case according to your hierarchy, Lampard is currently more senior to Roberts then. But in any case, DoF or not, I highly doubt that Lampard will ever report to anyone other than Doug King for as long as he’s here.

Again - this is not a standard corporate environment. Your org chart and titles tell you that Lampard reports directly to Roberts - which is clearly nonsense.

If Lampard wanted Roberts out then I have a hard time imagining he wouldn’t get his way on it.

Sheaf ticks a lot of stereotypical captain boxes (smart guy, central midfielder, defensively minded etc) but in reality he doesn’t seem cut out for it.

You reckon I think all professional journalists are infallible? There’s a difference for sure, but in this case it didn’t count for much at all, especially when the ‘story’ was written for a site with very little credibility for accuracy

Ultimately the club is doing best when the players are the stars. Hopefully Lampard will find a way to make that happen.
