Considering the difference in minutes there, Colwill’s numbers are clearly superior Reading that it seems like Rudoni’s job for us is to just hammer in crosses all day long!

    Rainbow Captain's Armband

None of it is a big deal at all - Ipswich and their supporter groups seem to have handled it with good grace and dignity and just want to move on. Guehi's been reminded of the rules and that's it. I genuinely don't understand why people think it's an "insane" controversy.

    Rainbow Captain's Armband

Apologies in advance if I come across as ratty in asking the question, but genuinely, where do you see the problem? Ipswich Town don't seem to have one, the LGBT fan groups don't seem to have one...

    Rainbow Captain's Armband

I don't really see why the club would go to the trouble of, in your words, bending over backwards only to give a "passive" apology (whatever that is) but sure. Seems to me like everyone got what they wanted here and is being generally respectful of Morsy's decision, even if they don't agree...

They haven't apologised and they say they respect his decision - what are you actually upset about?

    Rainbow Captain's Armband

Given that the team captain has declined to take part, and has done so with the club's backing, it doesn't seem like the pressure is all that great.

They tested an ID scheme out in Peterborough a few years ago and found that some NHS-eligible patients would likely struggle to get the necessary ID: NHS ID scheme could deter eligible patients, say MPs

    Another rant on defending corners

We’re not talking about amateurs though - these are professional teams all gravitating to a particular tactic. They’re all heavily incentivised to play whatever style they can to win, they get no benefit from imitating the top teams. And clearly it’s not as straightforward as “every team who’s...

    Another rant on defending corners

They don’t? I know there are tactical trends you do and don’t like, but there has to be a reason behind them beyond collective delusions of grandeur.

Because it may dissuade people who are entitled to basic services and rights from making use of them. If the number of people incorrectly dissuaded is greater than the number of people correctly prevented from using them, you have to question the wisdom of such a scheme.

So why does everyone else do it then?

    Another rant on defending corners

Does anyone smarter than me on tactics (so, anyone with eyes) know why this seems to be the standard way to defend corners?

Struggling to see the controversy here, think we’ll be lucky to get onto two pages with this one unless someone decides to steam in.

Match Thread Millwall FC - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 7th Dec

Kitching over Binks I can get behind, as I know the former is capable of playing at a high level, even if he’s way too error prone for my liking. It’s people calling for Allen and Latibeaudiere to start which I find more puzzling. edit: and BTA!

    Palmer leaving

Didn’t rate Palmer at all but he did at least offer something different in the squad, and he’s been replaced by literally no-one so…
