One explanation could be that he tried to get Delf himself?

To clean up the old debt to the original investors? Yes, the club is still in deep red, but what if they actually 1) Acquired ACL 100% 2) Got promoted back to the championship 3) Got rid of the debts to the old funds (£29m) If sisu themselves own ARVO the situation would look very good for them.

Well, with accounts like that reflecting the situation 9 months ago, anyone outside the club should be amazed we're still trading. But then again ... Leicester just showed a loss of some £34m and that followed a loss the previous year of £30m. Anyway, ARVO is increasing it's stake in the club...

    Ffp

Since administration exit we were put in transfer embargo under the FFP rules as our wage bill exceeded 60% of the turnover. The embargo limited us to 'one out' / 'one in' and a new player's wage could be maximum 75% of the outgoing player. Shortly before the January window opened sisu put in...

Appleton could only act on the documents presented to him. But didn't the club make all players and many other staff sign new contracts two years ago - a year before going into administration? I think it was speculated when no players were left in Limited that the club had worked pretty hard to...

But I wonder why ccc haven't taken up on the invitation? It could even lead to sisu dropping the JR - why else would ML bring up the JR and the independent valuation in the same sentence? SBA asked what would happen if SISU won the JR. ML said that he felt the Club had a very strong case but...

    still 7th

What is holding us back now is not lack of investment, but lack of FFP revenue. If we were to include the revenue of ACL we could have a pretty competitive FFP revenue. A good management though would decide not to overspend and let profitability be the first priority. Stíll I am confident the...

Only the last two lines? I must be getting better then. And on, they will need a valuation to make a bid. They will need to know the assets and liabilities, the contracts ... the works before they can make any meaningful offer. They even want the findings of the independent valuations made...

I may remember wrong, but I think - first offer was 'no deal' - second offer was '800K plus matchday expenses' - third offer was '400k plus matchday expenses' - fourth offer was '400k incl matchday expense' then 150k plus expenses, 15k per match etc. etc. There has been so many offers, but...

Ah - let me be more clear: When the club takes over ACL they also want to negotiate and extend ACL's long lease.

All the rent talk is spin on both sides. From the moment when ccc bought out the ACL mortgage and effectively stopped any chance of the club acquiring ACL BOTH parties were well aware any deal was dead. From that moment CCC pursued a strategy that should lead to sisu being forced out and the...

That was spin! And I think this is the third or fourth time I say that.

I think they have reduced rent offers as a consequence of previous (failed) negotiations. But that's beside the point really. Sisu will not let the club back before any agreement on a sale is finalized. The obvious reason is that moving the club back will increase the value of ACL. That would...

In the latest SGC minutes ML explain a valuation would require full access to ACL's books. In a previous interview he has said 'a very long lease is practical the same as owning the freehold'. That's the key points - all else are bargaining chips. They simply ask to buy ACL on the basis of an...

Sisu are not going back as tenants - not even short term. By playing at sixfields ACL will not be distressed. But surely the value of the company is less than if played there - so the price would in logic sense be lower with us at sixfields. Sisu have already supported the club once this...

Do you think we should move back as owners of ACL to boost our business and FFP calculation - even under sisu management? Or would you rather we stay at sixfields and risk sisu build a new stadium with much less potential?

It's not strange - the Ricoh WOULD be the answer, but then the argument would be on what conditions. I say: There should be NO rental deal. ACL should be owned by SBS&L. We should pursue CCC and Higgs to agree to start a process to sell their shares to SBS&L.
