Im not just talking about you nick. Gendel gave him a 3, which is ridiculous and then what you get up the city is everyone else jumping on the bandwagon and not even recognising some of the good stuff certain players do I do think he’s a goalscorer and by all accounts is by far the best...

Thank you ! Some sense at last. What do people expect of him FFS ?! He had a shot tipped over, a half chance just wide, slipped in JCH, set up the goal and worked his arse off. Certainly not his best game but did his job today. He’s a goalscorer that gets no service. Thomas, who I’m a massive...

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Charlton Athletic Match Thread - Wednesday 26th Dec

A keeper can’t hide, a midfielder can by not getting into positions to receive the ball and then playing it simple/passing backwards when they get it (like most of our midfielders). Last 20 he played like the bayliss of last season (that awful effort aside)

Because you all probably moan together mate. First half poor but never went hiding. Last 20 mins hes been good no thanks to all those giving him stick.

Bayliss hadnt hidden and barring the awful effort has started to get into the game (last 20 mins he was very good)

Nearly put JCH through and then won a free kick

Who’s doing a lot of the high press...Chaplin ! Two sloppy passes out of play but other than that his link plays been ok good, a great cross for the goal, a couple of decent efforts. I wish fans would give some of the lads a break. We are dreadful at just picking on certain players (usually...

Tom Bayliss - show me the money.

Bayliss still has plenty of ability. He’s just not influencing games like he did and it’s difficult to put a finger on why. Is he being stifled by the system, is he having a young players lull, does he want off ?!! (I doubt it’s the latter by the way) Even though he’s not having a great season...

A way out of signing Chaplin?

Given time, he will come good. Just lacking in confidence, in a team that is struggling to create and appearing to be being asked to play in an unnaturally deep position.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Agree that it’s the final stages and the only likely movement is something relating to the backstop. The ‘brexit in name only’ keeps getting repeated (mainly by those that are pushing for no deal) but I don’t see it that way. The withdrawal agreement appears to give us back control over freedom...

Exactly, I don’t like Corbyn but who gives a shit ! There’s a lot worse things to call someone

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Don’t doubt it but negotiations are continuing. Apparently one of the reasons the EU aren’t budging is they don’t believe parliament will vote through whatever deal is on the table (and there is still a chance of a second referendum).

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Its a compromise and probably reflects the split in the vote. All this vassal state stuff appears to forget the fact that if we want to sell goods into the EU, under whatever agreement, they will need to meet their regulations and standards. I personally think we would retain a majority these...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

The negotiations will still be ongoing, even now. I was also talking about the whole process though. The way politicians have continually aired their grievances and made threats in public has no doubt weakened our negotiating position.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Agree with the underlying problem Mart, but the point for me, like many, was for the government to demonstrate an element of control (actual or even perceived) over some of the issues and concerns. The EU has woken up to the fact as certain countries will be suffering from similar issues and...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Ive said before, barring the backstop, Mays withdrawal agreement is better than the alternative available options, what the ultimate agreement would be though, who knows. The lack of will to find and/or get to a solution is unbelievable ie the EU rightly cant allow the backstop to be...
