    Josh Eccles

That passage of play, with Palmer lobbing just wide...Eccles shot was really good, kept it low and curling into the corner, keeper made a good save. Always liked him, and improving game-on-game.

    Lineker was gutted

Ian Wright is a great pundit. Unedited, and once he dispenses the tomfoolery his insights are really interesting. I can’t see why he’d have a beef with us being a London boy. He did break Oggy’s nose once though. Lineker on the other hand….

Even at 2-1 down, although gutted I was happy we’d outplayed them. The turnaround was magical. Wright’s winner was top drawer. Fair play to Tavares. He unsettled them on that right side. Definitely a player to persevere with

    Robins celebration

The ball boy would have been instructed to do that (don’t give the ball to Bidwell). Classless. The fact he smiled at Robins whilst doing it… MR is a gentleman, and has always had his teams play the right way.

If we'd had this game after the Leicester win, it would be a different matter. Since then we've had the Sakamoto, Allen & Sheaf injuries, lost 3 games against our play-off rivals, and the performances have been questionable at times (even during the wins)

    Callum O’hare

His performances and body language since the Leicester win have noticeably changed, but that could just mean he's annoyed at the rotation by Robins.

    Dennis Lawrence

Adi is Head Coach, so there's always going to be coaches under him getting better positions. I think defensively we have done quite well with set pieces, but can't remember a bunch of goals we have scored from corners and free kicks in all honesty.

    Ex Player Watch

Yeah I thought he had something about him. He’s a LF / LW, definitely not a Wing back or a AM which is where we played him last season.

We normally rise to the occasion (except most of the Play Off Final last year), but the Watford performance worried me on Saturday, and too many players are not in-form (O'Hare, Palmer, Thomas, MVE etc).

Really could do with Jamie Allen, playing just in front of Sheaf & Eccles/Kelly for this game. Then either Simms & Wright, or play Palmer / O'Hare in a No.10 role behind the main striker.

Never understood the criticism Telfer got. Was brilliant at RB during the 99/00 season. Good crosser of the ball, excellent work rate. iI think fans were expecting a flying winger when he signed.

Really uncomfortable game to watch. Our passing was way off for most of the game and Watford looked dangerous every time they went forward. Kitching was a rock and we hung in there for most of the match, and luckily took our chances. Simms battled hard, and Wright always looked a threat, but...

    Wolves FA cup Quarter Final

Performance level has been below par since Leicester win. Even Sakamoto was quiet for a few games before his injury. O’Hare now locking moody, and not first choice. However, we know this team is full of talent and we need to turn up. if we play like that 1st half at Watford Wolves will be out...

    Watford Ratings

Should have been 2-0 down before we equalised. Had a good end to the 1st half, but Watford came strong again 2nd half. Not seen us pass the ball so badly for a long time. Good to win when not playing well, but we need to up our performance , Wright 8 Kitching 8 Smins 7 Eccles 7 The rest 5 and 6’s.

    Ben Sheaf

Our best midfielder. I would start him, with Kelly or Eccles. Presume Palmer will play wide, and O'Hare at AM. Resting Torp.

    Do we even miss Hamer?

I prefer the way we play now, compared to the end of of last season. Once we had lost O'Hare, Palmer & Allen we had no choice to go more direct to Vik, with Hamer bombing on, and the sold disciplined defensive system. It wasn't pretty, and when it didn't work (Stoke at home, and Luton Play Off...

Top 5 Goals of the Robins era

The Godden goal at Derby (2022) when he played a series of one-twos with O'Hare before firing across the keeper. That would be in my top 5. Hamer's goal at the play off final was brilliant too.

    Transfer Rumour Ellis Simms

I liked Simms from the start, despite him taking a while to get going. His performance away at Leeds was brilliant. He's now scoring, which was always inevitable once Robins & Viveash had more time on the training field with him. He's a cool character and all this talk about him not wanting to...

    Kelly must start every game

I thought he was excellent last night, and has been since he came back into the team this time last season, including his early season performances We look much more solid with Kelly there, none of these massive gaps in the middle of the park when teams counter on us. He surely has to start at...
