    What's more likely

SISU win a court case or we win another league match this season?

Somewhere they'll be paying for lawyers. Either they have in house lawyers who they will be paying salaries to or they will be paying for solicitors. Barristers are always external also. Plus court costs and inevitably they'll be paying the other sides costs as they invariably lose.

    What's happened to Mark venus?

Whatever one says about Venus, he's the only one of our three managers to win a league game this season. He has the best record of the three.

When was the last time we signed someone decent on deadline day ?

Scott Dann definitely was. I remember he signed about a minute before the deadline. Was McGoldrick a deadline day signing? If so him, if not Dann.

Of course they will. Battering people in court is what they get out of bed in the morning for. Not that they have any success in the courtroom either but as with football the end result appears irrelevant to them. They'll be probably be litigating before the Supreme Court, when we are playing...

    SLADE OUT!!

Definitely going down with these players. Slade is not to blame, the die was cast both by SISU's shambolic mismanagement and Mowbray's dreadful summer recruitment. Slade should be retained, release the entire squad and recruit an entirely new squad in League 2. However the budget will no doubt...

Match Thread Coventry v Fleetwood Match Thread - Saturday 21st Jan

I now consider myself a lapsed City fan. Had a season ticket for 22 years from the age of six but haven't been to a game in four years. I do live 100 miles from Coventry. Bottom line is it's not recognisable as being the same club as it was pre-SISU and it's no longer enjoyable. As sacrilegious...

Match Thread Coventry v Fleetwood Match Thread - Saturday 21st Jan

The only one of the three who have managed any league wins this season is Venus and yet he gets more criticism than the others.

Match Thread Coventry v Fleetwood Match Thread - Saturday 21st Jan

It is a total joke that a club representing a top 10 English city of around 330,000 people will be mixing it with teams from market towns with less than a tenth of Coventry's population in the non League shortly.

With respect, you are delusional. Not a dog in hell's chance we get out of this with this bunch of losers who clearly neither have the ability nor the fight to get out of this.

Match Thread Coventry v Fleetwood Match Thread - Saturday 21st Jan

Zero chance of staying up. Club is rotten to the core. Entire squad should leave at the end of the season - maybe keep those who have literally just joined. We need to start from scratch in League 2. I'd offer Slade the job even if we don't win a single game for the remainder of the season which...

We are just the plaything of SISU and a vehicle to give a short term dividend to their investors.

Simon Jordan Interview - Part 2.

Would we settle for relegation and him to buy the club off SISU in the summer? Probably not going to happen mind!

I agree but I just think it's going to require too much surgery and our beloved owners will no doubt try their best to tie one of Slade's arms behind his back in the process. At present we are going to be marooned by early March and will be relegated by some margin.

To those saying today is just one game, everything will be alright and let's start worrying in April, I say this: 4 wins in 26 league games. 2 points from our last possible 30. No wins in our last ten league games. Bottom of the league below Oldham, Fleetwood, Chesterfield, Bury and Shrewsbury...

With these players, absolutely no chance. Doubt even Fergie or Mourinho could get that sort of form out of these losers.

Lack of quality on the pitch

Aside from our off pitch woes, how many of our players would even grace the National League? I'd say only Stevenson, Willis, Clarke, Stokes and Beavon are worthy of being league footballers and the first two of those are likely to be off at the end of this month and two of the others have only...
