They're categorically not spending £30m this summer. The whole facade around them is a bit ridiculous. They pretty much need a brand new squad, will likely have to vastly overpay for players and have a dinosaur of a manager who is more likely to struggle than succeed at this level.

Given the extend to which our forwards have struggled in front of goal this season I'd be very surprised if we look to move on the one player actually capable of scoring 20+ goals with a full season behind him.

I back Torp to perform well next season. He clearly has ability. With a full pre-season under his belt with Lampard and the coaching staff and with a consistent run of games I think he'll come into his own a lot more.
