A tiny proportion of the fanbase would be bothered. Vast majority would still turn up week after week. Newcastle fans aren't at all bothered. Nottingham Forest is owned by the Greek equivalent of the Godfather whose rap sheet is longer than a giraffes neck. Again, they're not at all...

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

£30m with Rodon going in the opposite direction. I can sort of understand it with Gray though. 18, England U21, and had a hugely successful season individually despite being incredibly young.

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

As talented as he is that's a huge outlay for a player in the Championship if that's the case. I'll have to take your mate's word for it but I find that extremely dubious.

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

No they didn't. It was a £25m deal with £10m of add-ons most of which they didn't have to pay due to them being relegated. It's idiotic to think that Leeds made a £15m profit on him from a season in the championship.

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

Ultimately no one knows what we'd get. Entirely depends on what clubs are interested, how many are in the bidding pool and how hard nosed the club are about keeping him. Pointless trying to put estimates on it. That being said, DK is shrewd and drives a hard bargain so if a bid for most prized...

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

There's a less than zero chance that the £40m quoted would've been the actual figure. It would've been the fee tabled to activate the release clause but realistically it would've also been very heavily add-on based.

I doubt it really does much to help in building match fitness up to be honest. The quality is appalling. I remember Biamou playing in a few and ended up bagging about 5 goals in 3 games. Remember Ponticelli? You would've thought he was the second coming of Ronaldo based on his U23 record. If...

Maddison more or less came straight from the academy though, this is a different conversation. He was 17 when he broke through and started playing games semi-regularly. I'm more talking about allocating budget to the likes of Cashman, Jay McGarth, Tom Costello's etc. Individually they'll be low...

It will be to do with personal demands. I'd say for most transfers now certainly on the bigger scale of things they're usually the first to get sorted before speaking to the club.

It can't be cheap to run an U21s side, would be interested to find out how much of an overhead it actually is for us. When you include wages of players and staff, as well as the cost of food, drink, travel to games, treatment, equipment and any other extras that inevitably the average fan...

There's no real benefit for Gyokeres to actually stay at Sporting. Wage wise alone he will be able to earn probably 4x his current salary at least moving to a PL team. Sporting don't pay big wages and really their ceiling in terms of competing in the CL has probably already been hit.

He was unpopular for pretty much his entire time there. Not really surprising though given the amount of blunders he's made. Don't really understand how he's actually managed to have a career in football for so long tbh.

Huh? Haven't quite a lot of posters identified a RW as a priority to directly compete with Sakamoto? Most will recognise that his output was lacking last season and it's an area to address. EMC I'm less worried about as when he's fit and injury free we've seen the kind of contribution he can...

We do actually try to do this. The issue we have is, our build up play is far too slow at times as we don't really have a player that is capable of moving the ball on quickly and with Simms being physically incapable of retaining the ball in any capacity or bring others into play it forces us...

Surprising if true. I would've thought he'd be on something in between of high teens to around 20 pw.

Sadly I very much doubt that will be the case. As much as he needs to leave moving Simms on will probably be easier said than done due to wages.

Simms last season genuinely played like he'd never seen a football before and looks so out of his depth in the current setup it's lunacy to keep him on for another season. His form isn't going to magically improve when it's quite obvious he can't do what's being asked of him.

Salech is a good shout. Someone who should in theory looks like he'd fit into the current system nicely and suit how Lampard's trying to get our forwards to play.

At least one striker will have to leave in the summer. We're too top heavy in that area of the squad and budget would be better utilised if reallocated elsewhere.

At 24 I wouldn't really say he's that young. He should be putting in consistent performances by now.
