Planning application for Higgs submitted by Wasps

is it even practical? I assume that Wasps will have several age group sides playing at weekends so using the pitches anyway. how many teams does a Premiership rugby club have?

Planning application for Higgs submitted by Wasps

can someone get the list of 17 sites because the agents we are paying only seem to have come up with 3 or 4 options in the last 3 years?

    Could those attending Wasps games...

has there ever been a proper number given for ccfc fans attending wasps games? just don't see the crossover. i'd rather go and watch a non-league game at Stratford or Warwick or do something else than watch the rugby.

Pest exterminators enter the Wasps Nest?

i fear Wasps just think there isn't enough ways for CCFC to make enough money from a joint venture 15k stadium to make them take it seriously. Hopefully some more concrete plans will convince otherwise. I'm not convinced financially that Wasps wouldn't miss us. If the figures CA was using are...

CT article - 'Time to grow up and work together'

if people really care then why are their attendances only around the 2k mark? we have had a dig at people not getting up the Ricoh in big enough numbers (no matter who owned the Ricoh or when bigger attendances might have made it more difficult for it to be sold to wasps). or is it genuinely...

CT article - 'Time to grow up and work together'

another question are CCFC fans (or owners) really going to care if in the future the rugby club gets buried and CCFC end up with all the stadium? Would be nice but probably naive to think they would care.

Another nice positive article in the CT

accounts only give a guideline on what the playing budget might be. Jim Brown's figure of 92% is an irrelevance as it includes everyone employed by the club. Juggy can check the profit on player sales it's the accounts which does actually come in at around 9 million but obviously in not...

    So the real Poll

part of me just wonders whether we'd be even having this type of discussion now if the season hadn't fallen away so badly and we'd at least have still be in the play-offs or better. maybe then a 15k stadium wouldn't be so popular and there'd be more support to redo a Ricoh deal (despite Wasps...

European Court still if "out" vote.

that seems a very unhealthy %. maybe says more about the court than the cases.

    So the real Poll

yes but i'm not convinced part ownership of another stadium is the way to go. we are supposed to have investors lined up for a new stadium if the right site is available. if we're to have a new home then let it be ours alone.

If I Was head of the sky blue trust

much the same as the council & SISU the Trust & the owners have to step back and re-evaluate their relationship. Let's be clear that this was an ownership that only comparatively recently started to open up and communicate with the fanbase (whether it was a tactical move in relation to the rent...

Ricoh Talks Failing and Butts More Attractive

right what's changed then and when? Previously we were getting catering at cost and selling it on. the club is stilling hospitality packages.

Ricoh Talks Failing and Butts More Attractive

i don't understand how he says there is zero income from corporate catering. The club was selling various packages that included meals. 75K from non-ticketing matchday income doesn't seem to include matchday advertising income either which the club was selling.

Why more revenue will be needed

reducing midweek games is a plus point. often the lower crowds mean clubs are less likely to even breakeven on these games. a quick glance seems our average crowd for home midweek games this season was down by about 2.500-3000 from saturday games.. could reduce size of playing squads - better...
