    Euro Hooligans

i thought most of what remains of our hooligans are supposed to be tucked up in bed in England with their passports handed in. what happened to match day bans on alcohol sales that we've seen at other tournaments/ high risk tournaments? For all the police there how can they can not spot &...

So if this is a forced takeover...

largely irrelevant in this situation. Certain conditions were put before the council to get their agreement to sell to Wasps in the 1st place. Most of these conditions have not been met. Had they been excluded from the original debate would the council still have made the same decision?

So if this is a forced takeover...

it would be so toxic who would want it? the legal battles SISU have been prepared to fight so far would be nothing compared to what they would do if they felt certain parties particularly CCC were responsible for forcing them out.

Higgs have legal clauses inserted to block CCFC and back Wasps only

no now it's in spite of SISU. Going too far. If they break it too much or if SISU do decide to sell up no-one is going to want it. It won't be about just buying a football club it'll be about completely rebuilding it from nothing - new academy, new stadium all of which would take time.

    Offers Made For Four Players

People need to remember it's difficult signing good out-of-contract players this early. Players are going to wait to see what their options are. The same with loans their clubs like to get them back for pre-season before making decisions.

How would you feel if we...

or maybe we should change our name to "Coventry Wasps" - the rugby club don't want it so we should use it!!!!!!!!!! It's bad enough we could end up sitting in black & gold seats let alone wear it as a kit. Would take a bet it would be the lowest selling away kit of all time.

    Sisu bullying back-firing?

didn't the option revolve around the proposed stadium area subsequently being chosen as the new National Stadium site and the club being compensated if it was?

    Sisu bullying back-firing?

no it was mainly part of the construction costs taken early in the build process. fit-out was originally costed at 4.4m but there was an over-run of 2.6m (total 7m). financed 1.1m ACL & 1.5m CCC. here you go Nick you can start your knowledge base :)

    Sisu bullying back-firing?

seriously Nick can we not pin some of the basic documents (maybe in the Ricoh/SISU section) like the Arena costings, maybe a link to the Trust's Arena timeline, court findings so we don't have to keep repeating the old basic facts about the Ricoh & its history?
