    Ricardo Dinanga

They were going to announce Sheaf and Dinanga yesterday but Robins and Boddy were offered a lock in at The Sky Blue Tavern after they'd finished the promo video and then Robins was sick on his Air Max at 3am so it's all been put back until next week.

Just had to pay 36 quid customs bill for mine too! Won't be doing that again!

    Ben Sheaf future

People have forgotten how often Walsh got caught on the ball too in his first few matches, and that was L1. I bet a fair few of the posters on here saying they'd rather have Walsh on a free than Sheaf were the same ones howling at the moon when Walsh was getting caught on the edge of his own box.

More likely to be in London trying to sabotage Sheaf's contract signing

    Ricoh return membership shirt

My immediate thought was that it looks like the Spurs '87 final kit!

    Pivotal Sky Blue Moments

Wycombe away in the L1 promotion season was a big moment. Hadn't won away all season up that point and although we'd only lost 3 games we'd drawn far too many. We were at the back of a long chasing pack with a poor Goal difference. Matty Godden's hattrick and crushing the league leaders on their...

A forearmed goalkeeper would be a good investment too!

The 4 inch size gap between M and L seems pretty big! Do they fit like a modern football shirt? I left it too late to get the 2-Tone shirt and would like this one. I'm normally an M but I don't want to look like Mark Robins wearing Callum O'Hare's shirt.

Was a badly explained late night side point on the Wednesday version of Paterson. :D I'll blame the beer!

I'm always staggered the Sheff Wed Paterson is only 26, looks like he's pushing 40.

I think Luton will be happy to join the pack of generic powerful athletic teams in this league in exchange for a few seasons of being comfortably mid table.

    Older or Younger?

I think an average squad age of 23/24 is about right. O'Hare is 23 now as an example. I think for us, when trying to balance survival and sustainability, we should be looking at an experienced spine supplemented by younger players that we can pick up relatively cheaply that have already had a...

    Liam Walsh

You've literally just said on another thread that we should sign James Collins because he would guarantee us more goals than he has ever scored at this level.

    Kaine Kesler

More than anything, I'd be shocked if we were finalising loans before we moved players in and out on permanent deals. A polite enquiry to be kept informed if they were looking to loan him out next season at most.

    A question about hamer

I don't believe for a second that Robins continued to pick a player, for several weeks before he was benched, that was underperforming because he'd rather be playing somewhere else.

Wasn't it Barnsley that Corey Addai went to as well?

    Overall Quality Of The Championship

I was surprised by the lack of raw pace in the division. Many 6 ft 2 athletes with power and intensity in their play but I considered our squad to be relatively slow and yet there were not too many times where I thought 'this guy has got us on toast'

    Liam Walsh

I'd love Walsh to sign but I'm also a Hamersexual so I'd be disappointed if he left after just a season. I'd be nervous around the fitness of Kelly, James and Walsh going into a season with them (+Sheaf?) as our deep midfield options.

    Liam kelly

He had bad luck when he moved to England. Bristol paid to sign him after they'd just been relegated from the Champ and the manager who signed him was sacked a week later and then he did his cruciate halfway through that the season. Oldham, who were a solid L1 team at the time, then signed him...

Interesting chart as always mate. How much of that is influenced by him playing the central pivot in a 3 with WBs do you think? I seem to remember there being varying distance (30m in own half?) involved in the progressive pass definition, based on your position on the pitch when making the...
