I was far from impressed when he first came in but by the end he looked a good prospect. Fitness, an arm around the shoulder and an extended run in the side and he’ll be a good asset.

You think anyone in League 1 would pay anything more than a nominal fee for Godden when he broke down twice with the same injury last season? I don’t think he’s a saleable asset until he’s stayed fit for a season, and then he’ll be 31.

In terms of what we need, I think we’re almost there. An umlaut on the o, one more e and an r and then we’re sorted.

I’d imagine that’s a heavily claused million. Goals, a sell on and 250k once enough Cov fans spell his name right.

Well I have to say, when I googled Matija Sarkic I did not expect him to be born in Grimsby :D Almost as surprising as Marosi's Burnley accent. I reckon Badlan clicked on that 'Meet hot Eastern Europeans in your area' advert on his laptop and it's screwed his algorithms.

Think the Bowyer transfer was being reported as a double deal with Richard Rufus too? Would have been a significant upgrade on Paul Williams.
