If anything we've been a bit too frantic and got sucked in to playing too directly. Get the ball down and play through James and O'Hare a bit more and give their tired legs the run around. Ref hasn;t helped that either by letting a lot of late stuff go unpunished. Been like a Sunday league game.
His short passing in the final 3rd is atrocious and is a massive area for improvement if he's going to be a wingback but he's got time on his side, I think he'll end up a very solid Championship player.
That was a lovely cross from McCallum. He's stepped up again last couple of games. Taken a lot of stick over the season, some of itdeserved but he's only young and the inconsistency is to be expected.
Maybe the ESPN link is louder than Sky/iFollow but the commentator just had to apologise on his behalf after he shouted 'FFS lads, are we gonna fucking wake up now or fucking what?!'
Walker needs to step up tonight and pull Richard Wood all over the place. We've got to be all over them from kick off and not give them a moment to settle. Rotherham need to be made to feel like they are against a team who are fresher and sharper. Make those who played on Tuesday beg for half time.
Or they will have the absolute run of our wings, our CBs will get pulled too wide to cover him and we'll have huge holes in our defence.
That's made the decision for me anyway, I'm not facing this match dry, beer time!
If Dacosta fucks this up I'm flying home, shoving a french baguette up his arse and planting him like a flag in the correct RWB position like I've just reached the North fucking pole.
Amazing how many times lads out here say
'So who do you support?'
Me: Coventry City
*vague blank look* 'Right but which Premier League team do you support?'
Me:
