    its the end for us

Entitled to your opinion but I just can not agree with most of it.

    its the end for us

Correct I am not always right. Would never claim to be right every time, and am big enough to accept when i get it wrong, to admit it. However what i do not do is to ignore known facts that are inconvenient to my argument. It is all opinion really and the OP is entitled to his ........ I dont...

    club statement

Coventry City remains committed to conclusion of an acceptable deal with ACL Despite the recent campaign by ACL to force the football club into a deal that would be completely disadvantageous, Coventry City Football Club remains committed to work through to the conclusion of a deal that is...

If ACL want the debt paid

would alienate the fans and the football league would make them play at another ground. it would give sisu something else to dispute etc. so not sure it achieves what is necessary but it remains an option certainly, probably one step before winding up

    One for OSB

I do not see how they could ........ SISU dont have much financial risk directly in this, they are only agents. Might have some unhappy clients but that depends how the rest of their investments are doing that are dealt with by SISU The only casualty is likely to be CCFC............ even then...

Breaking news: ACL call in debt and have access to CCFC

no ..... none of this stops CCFC conducting business in a normal manner ...... just means that income they expected is applied to specific debts of ACL rather than put in the CCFC pot ....... it may affect what we can pay a new manager though because cashflow will be affected

anyone can crop quotes and change the meaning torch ;)

Breaking news: ACL call in debt and have access to CCFC

Thats actually quite clever because it means the money seized is frozen till then which makes things a problem for SISU whether to fund for several months or not rather than days. But also it means that no action will be taken further until the season is over so the fans get their games and CCFC...

    New £30m stadium in pipeline

only library i know in finham has a green you would struggle to put a 6 a side pitch on ............ plus the finham residents assoc would never allow ball games on the green !

will the doors be closed for next home game

no different to the simple council or acl bashing cc4l ....... people take their choice where they bash...... all got their good and points depends which each of us choose to highlight more

will the doors be closed for next home game

got to be honest I wasnt even thinking about short term....... although we have to get past short term problems. No deal is any good unless it is workable long term. need a workable long term plan ............... which has not been even outlined other than to say the rent is too much. Too much...

will the doors be closed for next home game

question is if you are expected to take great potential financial risk but have no say in the control of that risk would you stay and remain a puppet ? I know I wouldnt ...... that in itself would make a statement about what was going on.

will the doors be closed for next home game

no but that doesnt mean others shouldnt including certain CCFC directors

sorry chap things are not that simple

will the doors be closed for next home game

got to hope that everyone stops posturing and does a deal that safeguards our club but also a key Coventry asset. It was always intended that the arena would be built with far more than just the football club in mind Unlikely they will close the doors though ..................but it is an option

will the doors be closed for next home game

do they have doors at the memorial park ?

    The Council or SISU?

it isnt the board they want to remove it is the owners. But I guess it is another of those things that is at the moment open to interpretation
  18. oldskyblue58

Breaking news: ACL call in debt and have access to CCFC

no ......... the debtors are the entities like HTFC that now owe CCFC compensation money (they are debtors of CCFC) ......... ACL have put an order on what is due to CCFC by HTFC so that if not yet paid it has to be paid to ACL when/if the order becomes final Cant charge TF's or JS's private...

    The Council or SISU?

I would like clarification of that 24m for the matchday catering. My understanding is that the "rent" is in two parts........ the lease £1.1m and the licence approx £200k ....... given that the value of each would be subject to a discount over 40 years period I am not sure that there is not some...

Breaking news: ACL call in debt and have access to CCFC

But thats why they go after the debtors too ........ I think they realise it wont pay it all but it makes things very inconvenient and alerts other creditors which puts more pressure on ....... makes the dominoes wobble but not fall just yet
