    "Protest" Scarves

Not sure if it's my original suggestion being mentioned (hey I'm great I am) http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/33638-An-idea-to-encourage-some-unity?p=488475#post488475 but what I was waffling on about was trying to get those with different opinions about all this to show a universal...

Sisu will not drop JR appeal

I've now got an image of a peace making game at the Ricoh between ACL and a SISU 11 captained by an umbrella carrying Joy patrolling the midfield with Tim "The Cat" Fisher in goal. ML won't be playing, just appearing sporadically on the tannoy with claims that SISU are winning 5 nil when they're...

    The March Thread

The guy seems to be enjoying his new found "fame" a bit too much. Witnessed him asking a random bloke pushing a pram if he wanted his kid photographed with him cos "I'm a legend, I'm the bloke who went on the pitch at Arsenal".

Ann Lucas to speak about Ricoh and CCFC tomorrow

She said her door is open. They always say their doors are open. Never mind the bloody doors, one of you please pick up the bloody phone and start the ball rolling to end this nonsense.

Record numbers expected at Saturday's march

What a brilliant idea for an away game protest! Mustn't forget the big shades though!

    Reda Johnson signs

I'd love to know how the club sells itself to potential new players. Presumably the question of the Ricoh is raised during talks. I wonder what positive spin they put on it to attract the signature, and whether the new players are given hints of a return.

    Supporters

As a supporter you have a right to moan - it's what all supporters do at some time or another. The difference is other teams' fans moan about the performances on the pitch, to us that's virtually irrelevant.

Comical interview with Fisher on cwr

Mmmm. Never seen together in the same room...

Comical interview with Fisher on cwr

Haven't heard from him for months and then he appears spouting the same tired crap. Talks of peace and reconciliation but gives no indication of the steps he's going to take to achieve it. Think Shane let him off the hook when he wriggled out of answering the question about the KCIC offer.

    CLUB STATEMENT - JR Verdict

"the loan, which exceeded the value of the stadium by almost 200%" -Can anyone explain that one to me 'cos I sure as hell don't get it. Do they really value the stadium amd complexes at only £7 million?

    Happy Birthday

You're absolutely right, these things, particularly commercial negotiations, take time. So why did the man who doesn't posture or use spin say it was "likely" we would be declared the preferred buyer in two or three weeks? The guy doesn't do himself any favours sometimes.

Do you need to own your own stadium to be successful?

Of course a club needs to own its stadium... ...if the owners have lost millions of pounds invested and need something of value to sell.

Sandra Garlic has gone very quiet

If anything sums up SISU's hypocrisy to me it's this. The company which says "we do not posture" and "no more spin" sets up a consultation group for a new stadium before they've even acquired any land. Utter PR bullsh!t.

    Ross Allen

Not even mentioned on the Guernsey website or forum (although he's rumoured to be going to Margate!).

    On this day in history

Yes mate, indeed it was a Monday. And like the man says, many people had hangovers and wondered if the last 48 hours had been a dream.

SCG Minutes via Coventry City Mad

Great news that the club have listened to the season ticket holders in the North Stand and will now be keeping it open on match days. I wonder if they'll close it if neither of them can make it?

    Steven Pressley

We mustn't forget that this season's points total is achieved without any home advantage influence. Every other team in the league benefits to some degree from playing at home, whereas our "home" games are hardly intimidating for the opposition.

    Next Seasons Stadium

The fixtures were already published by the time we announced the ground share, hence the Saturday fixture clashes. Next season presumably the leagues will work around it with the two clubs playing alternate weekends at "home".

    Battered Fish a PR stunt?

Shouldn't the police give him a warning for inciting trouble by his provocative appearance amongst a peaceful bunch of City fans enjoying a quiet post match pint?

It’s time to say goodbye to Coventry City

The point is many people feel the same, and the owners don't care. It's even more sad that fellow supporters are dismissive of emotions such as these. Unfortunately at this rate when those involved realise the mistakes they've made in this disastrous course of events, it will be too late.
