The camel's fine. The kids were missing their mum but are fine now we've got the best sandpit in the street.

Had a similar offer for my wife when I was in Egypt. Bloody camel has wrecked the garden though.

    Caption time.....Waggot- Fisher and Pressley

Tim Fisher threatens to sue the takeaway if they get his order wrong like they did at breakfast.

I'm just being curious here but..

    It's SISU's fault we've got a thread like this.

    Just a quick one. (Ahem)

For City, seem to remember a Tuesday evening second game of the season v Norwich, around '84. Was that Oggy or someone else? Remember thinking "this new keeper looks comfortable".

    Old and New Supporters

But didn't the Ricoh look fantastic when it was full against Crewe.

    Perspective

Yeah. I remember TOBLAT. They were a Russian car manufacturer. Made the Sunbeamski.

    Academy back at Higgs

Just another attempt at feel good PR. They had to be at the Higgs Centre to retain Category 2 status. And they've been training and playing fixtures there for some time (September I think) so hardly a "return".

    Shame

The point I'm making is that it certainly seems SISU won't be going anywhere until they get the RICOH. SISU don't want our club. They want to get rid but have nothing to sell. CCFC owning the Ricoh and all it brings would be a viable proposition for a prospective owner, but whether SISU would...

    The Final Proof

On the contrary, I reckon support for the boycott and NOPM is holding pretty firm. Last two home gates under 2000 when if you'd believed Fisher we'd be nearly full by now.

    Shame

Maybe as supporters we should start hoping SISU get hold of the Ricoh asap. That way the club would be an attractive proposition to new owners and we might finally get rid of them.

    The Final Proof

Whilst I respect the choice of people to go, I really believe that if no one had been going to Sixfields we would be back in Coventry by now.

    Shame

Indeed. Not saying I agree with it. Just saying that's the only reason they're so intent on getting the Ricoh.

    Shame

Clubs do not need to own the freehold of their ground. WE do cos our owners have lost so much flippin money they need something to sell to get some back.

    MK DONS away support

Dear Joy, You have stated you know nothing about football and don't seem to understand the passion and commitment of the fans of the club you control. Please watch this video a few times. This is what supporting the team you love is all about. This is what it means to have a football club...

Sisu boss Joy Seppala rejects council offer to play at Ricoh Arena rent-free

Turning down a rent free offer could also "severely damage our promotion chances". If SISU for once would accept some of the blame for this mess and stop all the spin we might get somewhere.

    On a lighter note...

Decided to brave watching the Rotherham goals, and couldn't help smile. Anyone else notice Sky's mistake renaming the stadium - Sixfidles? Only six eh? Or is it six infidels? http://www1.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/teams/coventry-city/9045138/coventry-0-3-rotherham

    New Stadium confirmed

No way they will build here. Got be one of the most expensive sites they could look at with the HS2 proposal/motorway proximity/NEC/Airport etc . This is a prime commercial site. SISU don't do "expensive". They couldn't even pay to mend the mower at Alan Higgs. New Stadium confirmed? A rumour...
