    Mowbray, Coventry breakdown causing delay

I'd forgotten that street was Mowbray St. Couldn't get closer to the old offices at Highfield Rd. It's an omen I tells ya!

    Tony Mowbray

The article refers to "Mobray's high flying WBA". Can't remember the last time we were referred to as "high flying"! One day eh?

Coventry 3rd most succesful PL team on boxing day

We had some fantastic Christmas performances. There was that Arsenal game one Boxing Day too, but we had a reputation for flying high then coming down after Christmas like the decorations. The great escapes always started in the last fortnight of the season!

    Wasps

It does make you wonder if Wasps' venture goes disasterously wrong and they go bust, then what?

    The fans are an embarrassment

Given a bit of quality to build the team around Pressley might have half a chance of improving things. Problem is we've got rid of any quality we had and our team is average at best, full of players who were available for a very good reason.

    Tim Fisher's logic?

Yeah. It's Operation Premiership (2020) innit. Hold on tight folks we're on our way.

optimistic thread - wasps owner comments

If their plan is based on us staying at the Ricoh it's a hell of a gamble seeing as the club keeps harping on about building it's own ground.

    My thoughts

You have to wonder why they apparently didn't bid for the Ricoh when it looked like going to Wasps. Nothing they could build for the same money will ever match it for location and potential.

Slow news day...Let me kick this off....

Always thought Danny Thomas was a brilliant player. Didn't really get the credit he deserved in a short career ended by injury after he left us for Spurs.

Fan Power Wins The Day For Sky Blues

Although good to have an article singing our fans' praises, it is poorly written. To describe the Higgs Trust as a children's charity is stretching it a bit and we had no attendances below 1000.

    Congratulations

Last Friday's 27000 was our potential, 11000 is the reality. Time now to build on this reasonable crowd for League 1 and move forward.

    2,500 tickets sold for Saturday

A Liverpool spokesman was on the radio talking about their sale of £50k's worth of Balotelli shirts in 24 hours. He said more than anything it was due to anticipating the demand and having systems in place to cope with it. He said when opportunities arise you have to capitalise on them, which...

    now another 150 for sale

Think we're going to start hearing stories of people with tickets lost in the post or who thought they'd bought them online when it didn't actually go through. Bound to be a few sent out to the wrong people too. Need a good inquest after this has all died down.
