    Tips for tickets tomorrow

Patience is indeed the key as the site will no doubt be very slow again. They're saying only two tickets per person max so you'll only be clicking on two seats but remember to select one at a time. Wait for it to appear in the box with a ten minute timer counting down next to it before clicking...

Can Ricoh Ever Truly Be A Football Ground

But then over the years they talk of plans to fill the corners in!

Can Ricoh Ever Truly Be A Football Ground

To be fair there was quite a bit of memorabilia around when we were last there (seem to remember some of the lounges looking quite impressive) and I'm sure a lot of stuff will appear over coming weeks. Think the staff have probably been quite busy lately.

    I'm incredibly unintelligent....

Think it would have been more sensible to have Weds as the cut off point for the 4000 season ticket seats, rather than Thursday night. More chance for people to sort a ticket out if Thursday's an option too. You wouldn't want to be scraping around for a ticket on matchday.

    CWR not blocked on Internet!

They've obviously noticed. Perhaps someone mentioned it on an internet football forum.

    hamster worn out already

It's a real shame the online system is so crap, - think it could well affect the gate. Those of us who have spent hours suffering it in the last day are maybe, shall we say, a bit keener than others. Those who were maybe undecided about going and can't get to the club to buy tickets would soon...

    John Witcombe

Absolutely brilliant story. A massive thanks must go to John. I always felt mediation was the only answer and could never understand why the FL didn't instigate it.

    The Ricoh Affect

Once we're up and running at the Ricoh it's fair to say our gates might well average around the 12,000 mark (acceptable for League one in my opinion). So as has been mentioned before, we absolutely musn't go back to these 12,000 being spread around the ground amongst empty seats, but condensed a...

    Predict the Gate

Would love this to sell out but probably unlikely. The Crewe JPT game was only a fiver with the promise of a Wembley ticket and no live TV coverage but still took some time to sell over 30,000. If this one's a similar price we might have a chance but the Sky coverage will probably scupper that...

80% chance of return to Ricoh this season

Shame a thread with good chat about great times seems to be heading the way most of the others do... But anyway, could the guy in the background be Gary Collier, our then record signing from Bristol City, or was he the next season? Remember this year being the one after Wallace and Ferguson's...

    "Protest" Scarves

Like the idea of basically creating a City scarf to represent the early years. Says it all really. We were in Cov a hundred years ago and should be in Cov now.

    "Protest" Scarves

I believe copyright law protects an image for 70 years from its creation, so in the case of the old crest it might be free from copyright unless the image rights have been bought.

    New statement

These SISU statements always appear to be carefully honed by their PR minions with every slimy syllable double checked for spin maximisation. To put Joy's name on it by mistake was a hell of a cock up.

    Nuneaton match thread

I remember this game . The first half was crap played in torrential rain in front of a low crowd. At half time the fans on the Kop were actually invited over the tannoy to move under cover. A handful stayed where they were but most moved which resulted in the previously half empty stands being...

    "Protest" Scarves

My original thought was a sky and navy blue bar scarf, thinking sky blue and white was a bit too Man City. Or how about Sky blue and black circa early 1970s Willie Carr and Colin Stein. Haven't seen any of these around so it would be distinctive and still and very much CCFC.
