You could just as easily say it - but given the lengths that the "secretive" Joy Seppala" (there's a gentle hint in the adjective) will reportedly go to to avoid publicity, I think that you'd be wrong.

    No accounting for the scabs!!

To be honest, I think that would be going a bit too far......

    New Kit Leaked

Sponsor's name must be in very small writing.......

Probably true, however the one thing that we can be sure of is that "the secretive" Joy Seppala will not be happy with all this publicity.

    Not one penny more query

Agree entirely. Personally I hope that they're staying in 5 star hotels and living on lobster, caviar and champagne :p

Of course - it's not like there's any urgency is it :)

    No accounting for the scabs!!

It's really difficult for all of us who are used to spending our Saturday afternoon's swearing at another cr@p ref! My view is that the more people that go, the more likely it is that the move will become permanent. I can't prove that, but I think it's a reasonable assumption based on...

    Acl back on cwr again

Read my earlier post please - re the fact that both parties would benefit by negotiating a deal to play at the Ricoh. The gullible idiots are those that still swallow the "CCFC can't play in Coventry" line.

I'm afraid that that is nonsense.

    Acl back on cwr again

Let's assume we're dealing with rational people here (I accept that this may be a bit of a stretch). ACL would benefit by having CCFC as a tenant, even if for a short period (i.e. up to 5 years) while SISU build their new ground. That would give them ample time to prepare for a post CCFC world...

    Acl back on cwr again

That has to be one of the most convoluted pieces of logic I've ever seen. Talks without pre-conditions simply means that - no pre-conditions i.e. no one has to do anything in advance of the talks. ACL are happy to agree to this. SISU are not. We can only draw our own conclusions as to why.

    Investigation ?

Can't remember the exact date, but it's fairly soon. However, as I understand it, the creditors can apply for a 28 day extension.

    Acl back on cwr again

That will rather depend on the legal advice that ACL have been given. With all the "accounts in a mess", with all the movements of assets, this is far from a standard clear cut exercise. We will see. As an aside, if all that you wrote above were true and it is a given that the CVA will be...

    ACL legally

When I spoke to the FL, I asked them on what basis they had formed their view that it was impossible for City to play in Coventry. Their response was "Otium told us so". You really have to think that they're feeling just a little bit silly, just a little bit exposed now - aren't they?

ACL on CWR after 9am this morning

You'd think that they'd at least offer a reduction - say 50%, why not go for 66.7%?

    Acl back on cwr again

Acceptance with one condition that you're pretty sure will be refused is pretty close to a refusal though. Don't you think?
  17. DazzleTommyDazzle

    Acl back on cwr again

Yes, the FL's position that they OK'd the move to Northampton because it was "impossible" for City to play at the Ricoh, looks less and less defensible as each day goes by.

    Acl back on cwr again

I think it would have been much easier without a rent strike, threat of liquidation by the CEO etc, but we are where we are. It seems pretty clear that both the club and ACL would be better off in the short term with an agreement to play at the Ricoh, for at least the coming year. Logic...

    Acl back on cwr again

So you think that SISU should only pay the same rent at the Ricoh, as they're paying at Sixfields (a stadium less than a quarter of the size), despite the fact that average attendances at the Ricoh would be between 4k and 8k higher per match? Very strange way to run a business.
