    Acl back on cwr again

So why not try to arrange to play at the Ricoh during the "three years" of stadium building, so taking avoiding the financial hit?

Support the team, not the regime

"Support the team, not the regime" is possible - it just means away games only.

    Acl back on cwr again

It's not stalemate, it's avoidance. ACL have agreed to a meeting with no pre-conditions. Joy is avoiding having a meeting by demanding that the CVA be signed before she will consider attending. If it wasn't the CVA, I'm afraid there'd just be another excuse.

    Acl back on cwr again

I thought that ACL had agreed to a meeting with no preconditions.

Just over 2 weeks before the season starts

Other clubs have been in administration (which our club may or may not be - Ltd, Holdings, Otium etc) at this stage of a season, but I wonder if there has ever been one that has not even announced arrangements for its season tickets this close to the start of a season.

    Acl back on cwr again

The "ball is in ACL's corner" only because that's the way that Joy wants to play it. There is nothing stopping her going to a meeting.

    Acl back on cwr again

So you don't see it as a refusal? Would you have seen it as a refusal if ACL had said that their pre-condition was payment of all rent arrears?

    Acl back on cwr again

Hopefully even the Football League will now start to get a picture of what's going on.

    kit tickets and anything else

I suppose it depends whether you consider us to be a football club or a financial/legal soap opera. Which is a tough one to answer.....

ACL on CWR after 9am this morning

Yet they can afford to pay the rent at Northampton. Yet they can afford to cut gates from last year's circa 10.5k to between 3k and 5k (I think that was TF's estimate). Yet, apparently they can afford to subsidise ticket prices and transport (or at least, so it is presumed), to achieve...

ACL on CWR after 9am this morning

I find it very difficult to envisage a positive future for the club under its current ownership. This is particularly so because I simply cannot understand the rationale for the move to Northampton. I can see why SISU may wish to build a new stadium, but in the interim period, I cannot...

ACL on CWR after 9am this morning

If you got that review, you could probably do a great deal for the film rights. On the wider point, I don't want to put words into your mouth, but it sounds like you're saying that if there have been odd things going on in the past, it therefore follows that the present should have a blind...

ACL on CWR after 9am this morning

If there has been anything illegal, then proof would only be likely to come if the CVA is rejected. Given all that has happened, I think you'd have to be wilfully blind not to find it all just a little bit suspicious though.

Let them stay! Ricoh owners hold last-ditch talks with Football League

Perhaps a better word than accusations would be insinuations. Whether you think that's better or worse is a personal judgement. I can believe that the intention of those making the comments was not to offend OSB, it was pretty clear that the intention was to try to cast doubt on his...

Let them stay! Ricoh owners hold last-ditch talks with Football League

It's very sad that some posters on here who are clearly unable to question OSB's comments on an intellectual level, try instead to make some kind of personal attack with unfounded comments.

    And none taken :)

    No accounting for the scabs!!

I agree with much of that. We all know that the club is worth virtually nothing, but (in my view) if SISU decided to cut their losses and get out, there would be buyers prepared to pay something for the club. Hopefully they'll be able to "overpay" to a sufficient level to persuade SISU that...
