    300 season tickets sold

No. There comes a point where it starts to get difficult to blame all of SISU's actions on ineptness, but what is the alternative? Are they secretly supporting NOPM? Conspiracy theories on a postcard please.....

    300 season tickets sold

I think that we sold about 7,500 season tickets last year. The poll that we had on this site, seemed to show a fairly consistent 8% support for going to watch games at Northampton. Now this was very unscientific, but if it can be used as any kind of guide to this season, it'd suggest season...

Forget SISU And Concentrate On What We Love

There is one part of this that I agree with - "we must think with our heads and not our hearts". My heart says to go and watch the games. My head says that that would give SISU the support they need to continue with the dismantling of our club. Head wins.

Your Favourite player who was actually shite

Memories differ..... I remember him scoring a superb goal at the Baseball Ground on his debut. I think that might have been the first time I saw (we wore?) the chocolate brown away kit.

We bought Moldovan as more the "finished article". As I recall, he cost about £3.5m. Always seemed a bit odd that he was signed when Dublin and Huckerby were going so well.

Your Favourite player who was actually shite

That is correct. I think that the theory was to get him over here and then sell him on at a massive profit.

Here's a romour about the SCG

I thought you might want to be "different" because your "source" gave you a very specific incorrect fact that, one could only assume, was intended to paint members of the SCG and the SBT in a bad light. I'd thought that you might consequently have felt "used" and so free of any obligation to...

    PSL Reply

I love the wording - "what we are allowed to offer". Allowed by whom? The UN, the EU? Answers on a postcard......

Well Lloyd wasn't the most skilful play ever, but I can't think of many players that could have done a better marking job on Hoddle in the '87 final.

Here's a romour about the SCG

So given that it has now been made clear that your "source" was telling porkies, do you feel at liberty to divulge his/her name?

    160 Season tickets sold

It often seems that the people who proclaim that they don't care about "politics" are the ones that complain most about the way the government is running things, yet appear unable to see the irony...

    Gary Deegan signs for Northampton

I would never do something in such poor taste deliberately. I can only blame a combination of ineptness and rather good red wine.

    Gary Deegan signs for Northampton

I thought he looked OK when he joined, but it never really happened for him. Agree that the IRA stuff was massively blown out of proportion.

Your Favourite player who was actually shite

One of those players who never really lived up to expectations / blind hope. However, forgave him everything in the game at home to Charlton. The one where Danny Mills, after stamping on Aloisi in the first half, got him sent off in the second by doing a dying swan act as they fought over the...

Hmmmm. I supported bringing MK in, for reasons that I expressed at length at the time - but if there was ever one song that I wasn't going to join in with, that was it.

Secret meeting fa chairman, sisu/otium, acl on thursday

Sadly that's about the number of regular posters on GMK these days (and I accept that I am exaggerating to make a point).

So why post here when we are all so unworthy - not being "real supporters"

Your Favourite player who was actually shite

First time I saw him play was in the first home game that season (Man City?). He was brilliant. A few months later he'd vanished....

Secret meeting fa chairman, sisu/otium, acl on thursday

No, you are mistaken. He was referring to the fact that the last set of CCFC Ltd accounts to be filed, which he of course signed, showed that the trade of the football club was through that company. He was trying to explain why he was by then claiming that it was a "non-trading subsidiary"...
