    Bob Ainsworth's view

SISU's possible route out of this is: Approach the FL to say they can't continue in Coventry due to FFP rules and their lack of stadium, made worse by no available suitable land nearby. Their only option : franchise CCFC to Brum or London and build their own development in a tax deductible...

This needs saying - SISU have saved the club

It's the PREMIER LEAGUE ffs! Not been the Premiership for nearly 10 years. Unless you mean Wasps? They're in the Premiership.

Rico h Arena Move Will Break Partnerships

This kind of comment makes me wonder why I didn't take my kids with cheap tickets when CCFC were playing at Sixfields. Oh wait...I have principles on this sort of thing....

    Not going to the Ricoh...

I've been banging on and boring you all about franchising ever since CCFC was disgracefully moved to my town. I'm pleased you're back but this latest franchise makes me think it's more likely you'll be franchised again, on a permanent basis. East side of Brum is an easy option. Bigger ''customer...

    Trust meet Wasps

How can CCFC be a ''partner'' of RFC Franchise? Corporate BS. He's also told Wasps fans the move will give them all the 365 revenue. If Wasps get all the money (and they do) and CCFC pay them rent (which they will) then it's the sort of ''partnership'' Prince Charles has with his valet.

No ground no money no good so no point

TBF it's about the only true thing SISU ever said. Clubs like Leicester and Southampton are good examples of how to use your stadium to make money. Here in Northampton Cardoza is doing a similar thing, on a smaller scale...ground is up to 10k but the project's really all about the attached hotel...

Wasps to get off on the wrong foot with SISU?

Hmm. The 7,000 love in there last season suggests that might be true. In fairness, I think recent events have woken people up. Doubt anything like that number would go there again.

I might just go and watch Wasps

Corporate waffle from a business franchise. Of course they hope CCFC will remain tenants and pay them rent as long as possible. And of course they'll say nice words about RFCC. Seeing they'll be either out of business or at best RFC Franchise 'B' team. The Ricoh is surely far too big for...

Well, A) that ain't gonna happen. If anything, RFCC very survival is now in doubt (Milton Keynes City FC folded soon after Franchise FC arrived). And B) franchising means one towns ''gain'' is anothers loss. No community is safe from having their team franchised away anymore.

ACLs dream of ''sports franchises'' is now a reality in England. MK Franchise, Wasps Franchise RFC, JacksonvilleJags Franchise at Wembley FFS! There will be more and more in all sports, including football. I've long feared CCFC would be franchised to Brum or London one day after they moved to...

Good man. I hope many CCFC fans will now understand why they should consider avoiding away games at Franchise FC.

Why the wasps deal is wrong

Living in Northampton I can tell you virtually NO local fans went to Cov games at Sixfields. You seem to be already trying to justify why you can support RFC Franchise as if CCFC and RFCC don't matter. One presumes the backers of Wasps haven't been so stupid to lose the 2nd 50%...they'll...

Would you now back a new ground?

I hope you're right. But taking 7,000 to the Franchise FC match to protest your own temporary ''franchise'' doesn't fill me with great hope. I fear some plastic fans from Coventry will suddenly discover they always had a heartfelt love for London Wasps....

Now England are being franchised too!

The Daily Telegraph is reporting England may become nomadic again after 2018. That's not necessarily a bad idea for the national team (and no doubt Wasps will be interested!). HOWEVER...the reason is to free up the stadium so Jacksonville can play their entire home fixtures in London...

    Wasps Chief Exec

The Frannies embraced it. WFC fans were gutted but restarted their club from Division 9. MK Dons fans still take the piss out of AFC supporters today. Not a club you should take 7000 away fans to IMO.

    Time to face Reality

No on the contrary. I' pleased they have primacy (if true...it still seems a little odd to me Wasps would give primacy to a tenant who says they're leaving in 2-4 years). Maybe the council read these boards and followed the suggestion?! Remember my motivation...I hate franchising of football...

    Time to face Reality

Get real guys. Wasps have done due diligence for 2 years and kept it secret. They've got a major new sponsor in JLR. They won't have spent £20m for 50% without knowing they can get the other 50% too. They will get the hotel, casino, weddings and conferences cash 365 a year. It's what this is...

this Says it all for me.

Sorry but I find that totally hypocritical. After 1 day (less than) you've "moved on". But after a year at Sixfields you hadn't moved on at all and were still demanding the reversal of the (temporary) franchise to Northampton. if SISU now move CCFC somewhere near to Birmingham will you have...

I'm feeling jealous of Wasps !

I fear the 7,000 who 'protested" by filling Winkie's pockets at the Franchise FC match are likely to quickly follow Coventry Wasps'' with similar lack of care. Franchising is now killing CCFC and RFC Coventry...what were those 7,000 thinking of?
