    Hartlepool must be ROFL

"Heh, Cov are shat at home. Let's get at them........LOL, now their top scorer is out......and now their going into Admin!" A hard game has got a lot tougher in the space of 3 hours. Hartlepool have only lost once in their last 10 and will come here to sight-see at the Arena and then fight for...

Will we be able to hang on to Baker?

Hasn't he scored 14 goals for us this season? Making him Captain has been a master-stroke. But, I fear that sooner or later, someone will make an offer. And we have outstanding rent and stuff to pay. :(

    Everton vs Wigan

Wigan scoring 3 goals in 5 minutes! :o Totally deserved lead at the moment as well.

Robins: "It was a real bad day at the office"

http://www.ccfc.co.uk/news/article/robins-on-crewe-defeat-640781.aspx "We have to remember it is only half-time and it isn't over. I know it is a big ask now and I imagine there is a full-house there which will make it more difficult." "I think we created plenty of chances and we were good...

    Big Home Crowd Syndrome

Big crowd at the Arena? We lose. Why? It keeps happening, again and again. Yet another wasted opportunity to encourage the missing fans and Sky Blue Army: The Next Generation to come back to the Arena.

They're meeting almost every challenge laid before them

Remember the talk about tough trips to Stevenage and MK Dons? 6 points. Tranmere was a tough one at home. 3 points. Sheff Utd away? Tough game. 3 points. Now, if we could keep a few more clean sheets..... :p .....but apart from that, MR has them transformed from earlier this season. At this...

Betfair: "In truth, [Preston] have been dreadful at Deepdale this season"

http://betting.betfair.com/football/english-football-league/league-one-betting-coventry-can-increase-pressure-on-westley-240113-134.html With Preston North End boss Graham Westley seeking a first home league win since September, our man Alan Dudman thinks Saturday's opponents Coventry are good...

Brentford vs L. Orient; Hartlepool vs Bournemouth; Villa vs Bradford

The first 2 games could be significant for our play-offs hopes. The last one could be just a good laugh. :p

Knock City down? These days, they get back up!

Lost to Shrews Lost to Spurs Beat Preston Lost to Carlisle Beat Tranmere Beat Oldham City teams of old would be losing 5 or 6 on the trot. As it stands, we've only lost 4 from the last 20 games in all competitions and have that 'boucebackability' which any play-off chasing team needs in its...

He's still crap and worse still, he doesn't smile. Discuss. :D

    Robins on CWR

Not happy with performance, he just tells it as it is. Sloppy, lack of energy, didn't deal with PNE's aerial threat (again!). PNE goals were sloppy. Roar from crowd when 5 minutes of stoppage time announced gave us energy which we lacked. Loving his no-BS approach when talking to the press.

More praise for the Sky Blue Army

http://www.footballforums.net/forums/showthread.php/294233-MK-Dons-V-CCFC?p=8018508&viewfull=1#post8018508 I think the people who deserve some of the most praise today are Coventry's fans. They created an incredible atmosphere in their end and made probably the best effort in terms of...

Last time I felt like this....

.....was in the 10 league game unbeaten run, leading up to the 87 Cup Final. That team just wouldn't be beaten, even during an off day. Same thing here. Not their best performance of the season, but to come twice from behind to win at a very decent MK Dons side, in front of almost 5,000...

"...it's fair to assume Coventry are now officially a club on the mend."

http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/football-league/league-one-preview-climb-aboard-the-sky-blues-8429369.html Mark Robins' men were outstanding at Doncaster last weekend, dominating from start to finish as they put four goals past the team who started the day in second spot...

    TwoHundredPercent.net: "[Have] SISU gone mad?"

http://www.twohundredpercent.net/?p=21409 If there is anything more to the Irthlingborough story than brinkmanship, then we can only pause to consider whether those running SISU have gone mad. Nene Park has a capacity of 6,441 people and is comfortably up to standard to host League football...

    Fitness....

.....seems to have greatly improved in this squad. I think we're now seeing the benefits of a team who can play for both 1st and 2nd halfs.

Remember the days when we could barely win away from home?

At least MR has eradicated that nonsense (all be it at a lower-level of football). Wins at Oldham, Leyton Orient, huge wins at York and Hartlepool. Good stuff City, more please.

What else is there to change?

People say "things have to change." Over the past few years, we've changed: The Manager (just a few times ) The Coach The Assistant Manager (as in, none right now) The Players The Board The Physio The Fitness Coach The Owners The Ground we play at The Strip The Sponsors The preferred...
