How much money would we lose if/when we get relegated?

I've read somewhere that Championship clubs get £2 million per season each in TV money. League 1 Clubs get just £100,000. If that's true, then, adding on the loss from reduced crowds, sponsorship etc, then can anyone guess how much relegation will cost us?

    Cryogenic Sleep is the answer

I just want to go to sleep now and wake up when this shitfest of a season is over. The depressing thing is, even if (by some bloody miracle now) we stay up, it will be the same shit all over again next season. Endless talk of investment. Endless talk of incoming 'franchise' players. Clinging...

Will we win away from home this season?

I'm seriously starting to wonder if we will. City are the only team in the league (and I think, in the entire Football League?) yet to win away. Its got to the point where we need to be at least 2-0 up with 5 minutes to go just to secure a point away from home. God knows what goes through the...

Palace Away, Part II: Despair in the North

I really don't know what to make of that. Actually, I'll try: Stunned. Gutted. Angry. Angry that this has happened, AGAIN! In May, we could be looking back on tonight as a relegated League 1 team, and thinking, "THAT is when we blew it!" 5 minutes away from being 4 points away from safety...

So, what EXACTLY is required for City to stay up?

Let's look at the relegated teams that finished in 22nd place over the past 8 seasons in this league: 2010/11: Preston, 42 points 2009/10: Sheff Wed, 47 points 2008/09: Norwich, 46 points 2007/08: Leicester, 52 points (we finished in 21st/53 pts despite the Charlton 'performance') 2006/07...
