Sisu will not drop JR appeal

I think SISU are waiting to fail or drop the appeal, then when damaged are awarded they can say "drop those, and we'll return at £200k plus pie money". ACL- don't give in and dont even get back to the negotiating table until every penny due to you has been paid.

Acl to comment on Ricoh arena position

No Aces, I don't even think it's a message to Sisue. It's for all those who think the club should automatically return, by saying Sisue are as sloppy as an Eel, and they're not prepared to cut them any slack. It also makes good ethical business, something Joy doesn't do...

    I'm Seriously Annoyed

If he believes we have a guaranteed 2 year future, does that mean that any fans with a conscience can stay away and protest as much as they like, knowing full well the club will still be around in 2016...? I wouldn't count on that....

    Can/should the FL intervene?

I doubt very much that they have been duped to this extent before, and can only act based on past decisions with other clubs in a similar situation for fear of getting battered in court... I think they were naive to grant a 3 year term, possibly in the belief that building a new stadium...

Plus ça Change: The High Court Damning Of Coventry City

If so many teams loose money, and about a third or so rent their grounds, why is CCFC unique in its position of trying to distress it's landlord and failing miserably at it...? (I suppose you're going to tell me ccfc ought to be paying a Donny Rovers rent for a stadium that'd suit a...

Plus ça Change: The High Court Damning Of Coventry City

That wouldn't narrow it down from a whole list of loss-making football teams... Anyone who reads those years of history condensed into that article and still supports Sisu ought to see their doctor to get checked out for Stockholm syndrome.

Glimmer of light for SISU... breaking even at least last year and this

Sounds like a load of waffle that is only being made public to try to make the club's imminent sale easier. SISU deserve a medal for turning around this ailing business, all they need to do now is restore the fan base by 300% and justify spending £25m on a new stadium...

Coventry City owners Sisu found to have ‘seriously mismanaged’ club

More like: Sisu: Whoops! Got Cov relegated LOL! ACL: Can I remind you that when you brought the club in 2008, your predecessors had the option of a sliding scale based on which league they were in, or a fixed Rent. As you know, they chose the latter... Sisu: We batter people in court...

Football League responds after High Court judgment

    Disturbing

I'm sure an offer to buy the 50% share of ACL back at £6.5m plus the standard business rate of 8%pa might be entertained. But I doubt SISU could find 6.5 pence...

    Disturbing

I think there has been a bigger reaction from Fisher refusing the plan to bring CCFC back to the Ricoh with whoever else paying the rent, which to me says they either want control of ACL, they still think there is room to negotiate a deal, or there is something really amiss such as the club is...

    JR finished

So you know that SISU want out, but are stuck renting a stadium that they don't pay for and aren't even resident at...? Since they aren't tied to the Ricoh anymore, I'm assuming they can now sell at any time. And since their business can't get any worse, I'm assuming you think they are on the up...

    Best result from the JR

But SISU haven't lost, they've yet to batter their opponent in court and obviously won't stop the appeal process until they have. Tim is also still playing the victim card- claiming ACL wouldn't entertain a temporary deal until Fantasy Towers is built. If this bothered them so much then why...

    Midlands Today interviews

Tim is taking the case to the court of appeal, Lucas will recover costs and wants a chat with Joy. Interview was cut short as Ann called on the FL to intervene to return CCFC to Cov, not sure what she was referring to-possibly the £1m bond .
