Anyone now thinking that SISU will jack the whole thing in ?

CCC liquidated them..... I mean forced them to accept voluntary liquidation for which they recieved a 10pt penalty.... I mean they were deducted 10 points, which made no difference to their league finish.... You're right, ccc should have tried harder...

Anyone now thinking that SISU will jack the whole thing in ?

I am sure ccfc were done a favour on the new rent deal to give them some stability, exactly how much of the other deal with Wasps that was leaked to them is unknown to us Minions, but there was no hint at the time that ccc were in talks with other parties. If the Wasps were to buy ccfc, it...

    How popular will wasps be?

They'll be more local/new fans turning up for Wasps than when CCFC were in Norfampton, even after all the free tickets were given out by Timmy. Now let's carry on by saying how Great sisu are to keep Grendel happy.

    Not going to the Ricoh...

Franchising will prove that people will pay to watch quality sport, and Cov offers a quality venue and high population, including those who have abandoned watching their respective Football & Rugby teams now they are both playing in their third tiers. But I still think Man U have missed a trick...

So a new ground won't be Brandon

Sisu(TF) said they were only going to consider selling when the club were "on the up". Which was about 30 minutes before the Gillingham game kick-off. See those lights twinkling on the horizon...? That is another ship that has sailed...

What does this actually mean for CCFC though?

That is about the most sensible thing I've read on here, unless you believe that sisu were genuinely going to be gifted the stadium in return for some magic beans. Perhaps now TF can come out with more bollox and say that CCFC are now looking at sites within the city, since planning...

    wasps crowds

I think it's quite a clever move- they are from North West London, half the population of which can be seen in convoy up the M40 on a Sunday to visit relatives in Cov. I've never seen so many cars with gold tissue box holders on the rear parcel shelf. If anyone thinks a team can't move areas...

    Cov Rugby Club Not Opposed

“I have got no complaint about Wasps however. They have spoken to us and have been businesslike but also gentlemen so we have got no problem with them." It seems they're not very business minded at all, why don't they try to batter their opponents in court and pick up ACL for tuppence...

    Thank You Thread

Thank you FL for releasing a statement so quickly, when they dragged their heels for so long and brushed obvious issues under the carpet and tried to con us they'd be discussed at board meetings. It's almost like they knew it'd happen, and inserted CCFC into a cut 'm paste statement beforehand...

Football League Initiative to help fans avoid travelling

Can't see that working, Grendull won't be able to moan that even if ccfc played at the Ricoh, they'd be paying an annual rent for only 30 days use every year...

    Why don't the players protest?

Why do you think ccfc are in the third tier...? It is quite easy to play "not very well" to show up a manager and force him to get sacked, and nothing is said to them. But I do think sisu would be in dangerous waters by paying them late, it seems no matter what the state of the club finances...

    Baker to Barnsley

I don't believe for a second that ccfc are so broke that they have to sell a player every time a large legal bill comes in. It's almost like they're doing it on purpose just to point the finger at those naughty people from acl/ccc/hmrc so they can sue them for their own downfall and batter them...

    ricoh rumour !!!!

I've heard they haven't been paying the rent on the Shop, in an attempt to ruin the Gallagher business park, forcing them to go bankrupt to buy them cheap in a fire sale of assets. They are also claiming they want a share of the rent from other revenues on the site such as Argos and McDonald's...

    Appeal Decision?

Aren't ccc helping by keeping the stadium "as is", instead of conceding their tenants have buggered off and won't be returning as they obviously think one half the size would suit their aspirations better...? The thing SISU are dreading the most is having to build their new house of dreams...

    Ricoh

Sounds like an excuse for some to buy a season ticket "just in case", and then going to Northampton since they brought it and might as well use it.

    Distasteful Nuneaton town tweet

Stop being so stuck up. I thought any new publicity for our position would be welcome (unless you like playing in Northampton).

    Is there something brewing?

I can't decide whether he's just a SISU stooge, or the person I feel sorry for the most. He stands more chance of getting sacked than walking away and publically criticising his employers to tell his side of the story for the poor results, whereas his team are just a bunch of un-loyal whores...
