    Midlands Today interviews

Lucas 1, Fisher 0. Shame the BBC cut short the Ann Lucas interview at the interesting bit, and Tim must have had a lost weekend as the scruffy git couldn't be bothered to have a shave.

    CLUB STATEMENT - JR Verdict

I meant closed as in putting a roof over what was the pitch. Apologies for getting too excited and not typing anything that made sense, but I'm glad you picked up on it...

    CCC Statement

What about all the talented 3rd division footballers who have lost their jobs, to be replaced with academy players on tuppence ha'penny a week...? Nobody's job is safe....

    CLUB STATEMENT - JR Verdict

Evidently. You're not seeing them withholding mortgage payments in an attempt to distress their creditors, or liquidating their business after shuffling assets between pseudo-offshore companies. I'd give SISU three months to either get their new build stadium on the go or sell up, then after...

Statement against the Council and ACL

Hasn't the last couple of years only really about defaulting on legally binding contracts, then trying to find every loophole imaginable to discredit those you've shafted...? BTW, what I want is to have someone build me a 25 million pound house, and be able to rent it for 400k p.a. Bargain...!

Statement against the Council and ACL

"On top of this Coventry City Council and ACL continued to milk the club dry by charging extortionate rents at the same rate despite going down two divisions." How naughty of them....if only the club had been given the choice of a sliding scale based on which league they were in. Oh, wait a...

Do you need to own your own stadium to be successful?

How many of those rent someone else's ground....?

Sisu to build new relationships with council and residents

The clue is in the second word in "Rent Agreement". CCFC had enough support to be at least a solid Championship side, which fell away with the current owners in charge. The fact that the previous order were paying 1 mil for Highfield Rd and chose the fixed fee instead of a sliding scale proves...

Sisu to build new relationships with council and residents

I'm glad somebody else is on the same wavelength. I was thinking of, for example, some turds like "opium entertainment" making shed loads of money from exploiting a national comic or Kate Bush on tour, and claiming that as profit for the venue and therefore the club. But even considering...

Sisu to build new relationships with council and residents

And SISU know that, which is why they think they have the upper hand. But would you rather be a loss making football club without a ground, or a semi-profitable multi use sports and leisure venue....? Who is to say the financial fair play rules won't change again, SISU were obviously eyeing...

Sisu to build new relationships with council and residents

It's about time they took the bloody badge off it, found another use, and rearranged the seats to say "FUCK OFF SISU". How many months is it before they said the new stadium would be ready....?

High Court win for Coventry City owners could lead to multi-million pound bill

Is Our Lack of Transfer Activity Prior to the JR an Indicator that...

I don't think SISU will pull the plug- unless they don't have a reason to own the club as a tax loss anymore, or really don't think they can sell it "on the up" as Timmy said. Lots of people think the JR will be a turning point with regard to whether SISU will pull the plug. Sorry, I can't...

Former chairman force to pay ACL £300k

Wonderful thing is hindsight. Especially when you have the choice of paying 1.2 mil per year, or a sliding scale based on how crap you're doing....

    Stock Take

So what you're saying is, you're withholding revenue in the vain attempt to instigate financial disaster for the company, and hope to buy a shirt in a fire sale after a judicial review when it is deemed that £25 is too expensive. In the meantime, you've been window shopping at a club 35 miles...

    Where should the fine go?

Any fan could agree, but ask a Blackburn, Huddersfield, and to some degree Wolves fans what happens when the money runs out. At least the FA are wise to this, and are trying to keep the Prem as it is although you'll always have the big teams at the top. Continual dominance must get boring...

    Where should the fine go?

It should go to the clubs that they beat. It's not just the money that should be a deterrent, if it goes to their opponents then it'll show you have to use more than large wheelbarrows full of your billionaire owners cash to get success.
