Is there space at Allard Way for a 8k seater stadium...? If they were so keen to promote local football like you say, then shouldn't they be financing HR2 and renting it out to ccfc for a token fee...?

I'm assuming they're Scousers and wouldn't insult you by suggesting otherwise, but knowing many who have chosen to support one of the big teams despite having no connection with the area kind of blows the "anti-franchise sport" and moving locations arguments out of the water....

I agree. If you've got £25 million sat waiting to finance a new stadium, you ought not to be wasting £3 million on a share of ACL.... But if you've only got 25p, it makes no difference...

Look at the positives- soon ccfc will be playing in their "own" stadium and directly benefiting from the extra revenue that only a few gypsy weddings and teapot salesmans conferences can provide...

There are comments from quite a few teams wishing they'd be drawn against a small list , including Coventry. Is this because it's a high profile eevent for them, or do they fancy their chances of winning...?

Let's face it, four teams out of 24 are going to be relegated, and I doubt you'll find four others that have been run into the ground or had to endure poor management decisions as much as ccfc have....

Don't confuse MONEY and PROFIT, if they can reduce costs after relegation but still keep the same gate then they have more pennies in the bank for SISU towers. I'm not sure why their poor performance would stop people from going, or even who owns them- either you're a fan or your not, and if...
