    Has he gone yet?

Perhaps SP thought loosing to Worcester would be like dropping 10 points, and inspire the team to do better. Then again....

    CCC owe us

The majority of Cov residents would never go to a ccfc game, and although might have sympathies towards the principle of having a team playing in our city, would probably side with the business decision- Which means not subsidising ccfc without a measurable return, and not dealing with...

    CCC owe us

Not gonna happen. Like in the same way any one agenda councillors with a view to returning ccfc to the Ricoh weren't voted in. The majority of voters in Cov really couldn't give a flying f*ck...

Wasps complete 100% purchase of Ricoh

At which point SISU (if they are still going) take CCC to court for illegal use of state aid / funding / whatever to try to distress them for picking it up on the cheap. Another point, are Wasps allowed to sell ACL outright, or have to offer first dibs to CCC...? The biggest mistake ever made...

Wasps complete 100% purchase of Ricoh

£2.77 mil, and the condition that a stand was named after them. So will there also be an "Ann Lucas Stand"....?

Coventry City FC's bid for half of Ricoh Arena firm rejected

Can't change owt that is in the past, as for the future I think nothing will happen immediately, but towards the middle of next year when numbers have settled down and assuming ccfc stay up, I'd expect to see either a start on the new stadium or sisu chucking the towel in and selling. But who...

Its Time the Higgs Charity Remembered it's Loyalties

Can't see the sharing thing working, what if they decided to share the name...? Half of a photocopier maker and half of JLR and you've got the "Ricover" Stadium....

If Wasps get all of the Ricoh.....

It's not like they put in a serious effort...the main problem is not having £25mil for a stadium.

If Wasps get all of the Ricoh.....

Traffic disruption is the council's problem and wouldn't necessarily stand in the way of any proposals- traffic was the residents argument against building a new school at the playing fields on Hollyfast Road in Coundon, and despite a 80yr old covernant on the land, the developers lawyers still...

Its Time the Higgs Charity Remembered it's Loyalties

Is there space at Allard Way for a 8k seater stadium...? If they were so keen to promote local football like you say, then shouldn't they be financing HR2 and renting it out to ccfc for a token fee...?

    20th December home game

I'm assuming they're Scousers and wouldn't insult you by suggesting otherwise, but knowing many who have chosen to support one of the big teams despite having no connection with the area kind of blows the "anti-franchise sport" and moving locations arguments out of the water....

Tim Fisher reveals details of Ricoh bid

I agree. If you've got £25 million sat waiting to finance a new stadium, you ought not to be wasting £3 million on a share of ACL.... But if you've only got 25p, it makes no difference...

    Can/should the FL intervene?

Isn't that like expecting acl to be friends with the school bully, once he comes running back with a false apology...? Well once a bully, always a bully. And bullies always get their comeuppance...

BBC's MOTD's disgusting comment about CCFC.

There's no such thing as bad publicity..

Where we are at now and how we got there

Look at the positives- soon ccfc will be playing in their "own" stadium and directly benefiting from the extra revenue that only a few gypsy weddings and teapot salesmans conferences can provide...

The F.A. cup round one draw

There are comments from quite a few teams wishing they'd be drawn against a small list , including Coventry. Is this because it's a high profile eevent for them, or do they fancy their chances of winning...?

    Recruitment has been shocking

Let's face it, four teams out of 24 are going to be relegated, and I doubt you'll find four others that have been run into the ground or had to endure poor management decisions as much as ccfc have....

Promotion's not in SISU's interest, but relagation is.

Don't confuse MONEY and PROFIT, if they can reduce costs after relegation but still keep the same gate then they have more pennies in the bank for SISU towers. I'm not sure why their poor performance would stop people from going, or even who owns them- either you're a fan or your not, and if...
