Confirmed Signing Stephen Mfuni - LCB + LB

Man City do tend to let good youth players go though. Sancho, Palmer, Bobb, Olise, Trafford, Frimpong etc. Wouldnt be beyond the realms, but its whether he would want it.
None of those other than trafford had a good top flight season under their belt

They certainly do, but they can't keep everyone. The difference here to me is he went into the mens game at 17 and was the best player on the pitch.

It's hard to believe he hardly has any experience in the mens game. He will only improve with experience. He is going to be some player by the end of the season and could be ready for their 1st team by then.

If Manchester City choose to sell him (or have to), he'll go to a club higher up the hierarchy than us.

Where are the wankers that had said he’s not the answer? Cut above physically.

Anyone that actually watched him play last year before assuming he’s too young would have known he’d improve us.

Generational talent.

Alongside the goal, he also wrestled “Bog Dan Burn” off the ball when they went long to try and get a goal back.

For an inexperienced 18 year old, the confidence is off the charts.

Let’s enjoy the year he has with us and he’ll be another loanee with fond memories playing for us - on both sides.

Need to get him shacked up with a Coventry lass ASAP 😁

Love him. Real enjoy him while he’s here type signing cos he’ll be in the Man City side or another top team next season easily.

Hello from a Manchester City fan.
Stephen Mfuni is, IMO, the best academy talent from the club during the last few years, and he has been at City since he was 8.
He has physicality, technique, tactical awareness and adaptability, and has always stood out, to me, at every level that I have had the privilege to watch him.
I wish Coventry City and Stephen Mfuni all the very best for the season.

At the moment he’s got the potential to be one of the best players to ever play for us.

We havnt conceded a goal in any game while Mfuni has been on the pitch.

Let's start him every week from now on 😍

I think there's a close to zero chance of signing him permanently.
So much is in doubt at my club but if the worst came to the worst, it is academy talent that could be the basis of any longer-term recovery.

You know how Birmingham fans are rightly just dead proud Bellingham played for them, I feel we will be the same with this lad, enjoy watching him whilst he is here for a year, a special talent and footballer

I would happily wager he will be in an England shirt at the next World Cup in 2030

With Bobby alongside him

Apart from the three we conceded against Villa...
