So last season the excuse was "we have too few players", and this season it is "we have too many players".

Priceless.

There's a balance to be struck though, isn't there? We knew Sammy, Eastwood and Cranie were leaving: that's a huge chunk of wages out for a start. Keogh and Gael would have been on reasonable wages for L1. We could still have brought a few freebies in without selling them!

And I said too many NEW players!

Which is one reason why I'd have rather kept Gael & Keogh and not signed so many players!

We would never have kept them NLHWC. Gael would have gone because of the opportunity he has been offered and Keogh wanted his move because he needs championship football to progress his career.

Any thoughts that we could have kept them arent realistic im afraid.

Errr....the centre backs didn't play together last year....or the midfielders.....or the forwards

But you said 9 new players. 4 of the back five aren't new for a start. How many debuts are Yeovil giving?

Some people on here would make excellent Witchfinder Generals.

Some people on here would make excellent politicians!

Sadly they dont make great football pundits. Get some new excuses for the clueless clown thorn as he will need them soon.

I'm not making excuses, just amazed by the impatience and arrogance!

I didn't say 9 new players were playing today for a start - the players are not used to playing together as a team - too many new players in the squad

How are we playing now? Any chances or pressure?

Do we look like we want to win? Are we pushing on or sitting back?

if we don't get a win here then it will make the Tuesday night game against Sheff Utd all the more difficult. The thought that if we lost to them and were 5 points behind already would not be 'hitting the ground running' as it were.
No today we need to hit the ground running all guns blazing and yet listening to the commentary it sounds like we are not exactly doing that?
We can win ugly today, I dont care but win we must.

we need thorn out! Yeovil are average and the only reason they are drawing with us is because they have a half decent manager
