What a zinger.
Let me understand. A Moron demands a taxi for Robins and then 3 months later we’re top of the league by 5 Points with a game in hand. Others including myself passionately defend Robins against the nonsense.
I still totally support Robins - just hope we abandon the 4 at the back very soon. I repeat 4 times tonight that I support Robins.
The Moron then states that I’ve joined him in wanting Robins out despite all evidence.
So yes fuck off.

If he sticks with 4 at the back will you repeat your calls for a taxi?

He praises tonights performance, we concede after being under pressure for most of the second half and he blames it on the Jobello substitution. We then scramble 2 up front, Hamer gets us out of jail and it's back to saying what a wonderful system and 4 games unbeaten including Norwich though that was lucky.

Goes around calling people clueless and trying to hope people forget he was leading the calls to sack Robins when nobody else was this season.

Im glad you and Danny have found each other

It’s hilarious - your analysis is all over the place - you fixate on missed chances from the opposition and ignore the chances we’ve created. Write robins a letter and tell him what he’s doing wrong

You fixate on Norwich having injuries as the reason they couldn't break down our dreadful 5 at the back-we created very little 2nd half. Walker was hopelessly stranded tonight and Robins bizarrely thought that just swapping him for Max would make things better-it didn't.

We also created zilch against Birmingham but that's OK because Juke missed 3 sitters-we look utterly toothless with this way of playing

We had 3 clear cut chances tonight had a penalty shout and a goal disallowed

Brighton seriously what has happened to you?

Well I've been quite open about my stress levels this year. Still when all I'm saying is the formation wasn't why we were shipping all those goals, which you actually agree with, it's taken as wanting the team to lose. That does my head in and when it's coming from a twat who wanted the manager sacked weeks ago he deserves what he gets.

I'm hardly the only one who doesn't like how we're playing with this 4-stodge-1 or how we played tonight

If you are depressed or anxious give me a dm

But is it affecting your judgement of games possibly?

We were in control today and whilst we don't look like scoring 3 or 4 a game the signs are promising imo. Only Blackburn and Bournemouth looked better than us so far in general play and one of them was a game with 10 men

I am happy with tonight and the season thus far.

cc4life - I usually agree with you- but there was no way we were in control tonight. the performance was awful - and I'm usually the most positive on here. i was very impressed by how we played at Norwich - tonight not at all.

We did not look in control of that game, sorry. We deserved to go behind and were fortunate to level it up. Walker is always left to work miracles on his own up top and was a passenger in the 2nd half in particular. I backed my judgment post Boro and I'm backing it now, certainly ahead of the guy who thought we should sack the manager prior to the Birmingham game

I saw little difference from weekend to today. We play it well around keeper defence and midfield. And we still lack penetrating fibal third play

I was not worried at any point derby woukd score other than their chsnce at end that hit bar. I felt we looked very comfortable personally.

I’d also dispute we were in control, bar the first 15-20 minutes. Derby were able to get at us far too easily in wide areas and they did have a few gilt-edged chances, as Brighton mentions. Let’s put this into context, that Derby team have scored 2 goals from open play all season, and they weren’t bereft of chances against us. Yes, there is an element of poor finishing but if the system is as solid as some swear by then we shouldn’t be giving up the chances we did tonight.

Also lazy to say that we looked good because we had chances and a goal disallowed. The disallowed goal was from a free kick - could have been playing 8-1-1 and that chance still comes. And one of the chances at the very least was due to a defensive cock-up on their part. Yes, 2 other chances we should have probably scored but if we’re relying on scoring every chance we get, it tells me we’re not creating enough.

Had a call from a taxi firm asking where he needs to go.

I told him I’d provisionally booked one for 8 weeks time so don’t bother me now but keep the engine turning over
Be careful what you wish for - The taxi could take robins to many clubs as believe me he has many chairman suitors in the EFL, who would love to have him at the reins, who would arguably pay him twice his salary and up to 6 times his playing budget – They all recognise what a fabulous job he has done in incredible circumstances. Playing at loan grounds trying to attract decent players to play for us even now must be a uphill struggle –Give the man some money and he may just change his tactics to suit some people that think he isn’t up to it – He has to work with what he has got with the lowest budget bar Wycombe – How about a bit of loyalty has he has shown that in abundance

The only area we really struggled against Derby was down their right , our left. I think Sam is struggling for form, and also appears to be picking up little knocks during games. They looked dangerous down the right wing all night. I would rest Sam and put Giles in there for a few games, whether as part of a 4 or a 5. We were sloppy last night, and although we had chances, we weren’t fluid in midfield or attack.

Sometimes our expectations are too high, before yesterday’s game, some posters were ‘buzzing’ ‘excited’, obviously expecting a big win. No teams are going to roll over in this league, and I think Derby were better than we expected, and played with confidence. A draw away from home is good, but we should set up in a way to win on Saturday.

Wow you must have some serious connections to know that various chairmen are interested in him.

Not really. Look at the opposition we’ve faced - Blues and Derby in particular are awful in attack. Norwich had no strikers. Again, lazy to look at it as a binary thing. And that’s before we get to the fact that we played 3 at the back v Norwich.
Exactly teams we’ve faced have flattered this systems defensive game.we are still having teams have chances against us,derby had scored 2 from open play until last night

Tbf BSB, I like you and many others (including G) were pretty unhappy with Robins earlier in the season because it seemed like he had no answers, we often weren't competing and we were conceding left, right and centre.

What he has done finally is made us difficult to beat, its not particularly pretty and when I'm watching it I go a bit bi-polar as I'll happily whinge away while knowing its probably the right thing to do.

I do however think it should be assessed on a game by game basis, I think if we'd done it your way we may well have beaten Derby last night as they were there for the taking. This also applies to a few of our upcoming fixtures, I will definitely be annoyed if we seemingly play for a draw at home to Rotherham for example. But largely I think we'll have to go the hard to beat route.

If we set up more positive we beat -

Norwich
Birmingham
Derby

That’s 6 points more than we have now

Hmmm, not sure our defensive record prior to those games backs that up. I do think Derby were there for the taking (mentally as much as anything) if we’d just had a real go but not sure about the other two.

Hopefully Robins will continue to tweak things until we get the right balance but only two goals conceded in four games (look how many Cardiff have scored in last couple) is a step in the right direction.

I think the 3 games where we switched to 5-3-2 had us a lot more threatening and for the most part our defence wasn’t being carved open as much as people were making shocking mistakes. I feel the balance has gone too far the other way and we afforded Brum and Derby in particular too much respect. At Norwich we had quite a forward thinking game plan to exploit their weak bench. At Derby it seemed very passive and he waited for us to go behind late before he changed it.

Derby had 3 sitters and should’ve had a penalty, our defensive weaknesses were still there just not exploited. I don’t think that warrants me being called clueless

Scientist loses the power of logical thought, I've think we've got the premise of a comic book character

I guess that works if there’s a story arc involving a mythical beast who calls for superheroes to be sacked then changes tune when they hold Aqua Man to a draw
