oops posted in error. Was about to say that McNulty is on the best earner he is ever likely to have. If he has any commercial sense he will sit it out in Reading, playing or not

Ooooooh, they won't like that.

Ogogo and Westbrook are not remotely similar as players. I doubt Westbrook’s one senior appearance will have any baring on the decision taken.
Westbrooke looks like Bayliss mk 2. Bayliss has played very well the last 3 games (one goal two assists) - watch this space?

Agreed on that but Westbrook was in the team and Ogogo not even in the squad in the last game
He was at least making the bench until recently so it does invite speculation

I don’t disagree that Ogogo maybe on his way out. My point is that the team has been short of creativity and goals and I think MR has favoured Westbrook as he feels he offers more creatively. I’m not sure it’s a direct comment on Ogogo.

My daughter trained in her Coventry kit at the derby county training academy today. She was told by DCFC staff about Luke Thomas staying on and also that another Derby player was to join us. She was told the name but can’t remember who it was (she is only 9 yrs). So watch this space...

So you’ll happily cut the development of Chaplin who is our own player under contract for that of a man who’s agent engineered a move away from the club. That’s the same man then leaving the club potentially hi and dry again twice in a season.

As for players out of contract, it’s a bizarre statement to make.
Do you seriously think he’s not had contact with any of the players or agents in regards of entering negotiations into new deals?

Do you also think it would be damaging for the relationships between manager and players to publicly state at this point the players are refusing to consider negotiations at this stage.

He must expect them to be off in this window to have said that

If the rumors are true Ie. Derby player, think it will either be George Thorne (Ace signing- was great until a big injury last year) or Max bird.

Jonny Williams from Palace to Charlton. Excellent signing.

Is he the one with the giant forehead who had a lot thought of him but has never really done it? Reminds me of Nick Powell.

He's had a lot of loans from what i remember and never really done anything/ played a full season? Maybe change to Charlton will reignite his career.

Cracking player, especially at this level but seems to be permanently injured, presumably this is why it's only a 6 month deal

Yeah that’s the one. Balding from birth. He was great for Palace in the first few seasons when he broke through and typically was dubbed as ‘the next big thing.’ Hasn’t pulled any trees up because of injury struggles but a live wire when playing can cause a host of problems for opposition defences by breaking up place with his movement and skill on the ball.

Hasn’t really happened for him at other clubs due to injuries but stepping down to League One should be a great chance for him to reignite his career.

Yeah did well with Palace in the championship.

Feel like the drop down will either make or break his career. Must be 25/26 now, so time for him to start realising his potential. But could be a very shrewd signing for Charlton

Yeah it’s one of those. I’m actually surprised a lower end Championship club hasn’t taken a chance on him actually but probably his biggest issue at the minute is confidence - hence why he favoured the drop. If he finds the form he showed during the early stages on his career he’ll have no issue getting back to the Championship though.
