Most deals at our level are one or two years apart from the better players who can demand 3 or more years. A big factor because of the risk of injury
Another contributor said we'd offered a surprisingly good signing on fee

Think I'd be inclined on eyeing up a CH as a Willis and or Davies replacement and maybe a Bayliss replacement. Unless of course were clever and sell Bayliss on a loan back deal.
And a keeper a must in my eyes. Burge seems to of improved slightly this season, but not enough for me. A slight improvement in 3 season's isn't great really. Great shot stopper, poor at most other things. When our rivals this season have better, we need better.

That's the problem though, we've only got Burge. LOB is nowhere near good enough to be a starter week in week out if Burge gets injured and Addai isn't experienced enough. So someone to compete with Burge is definitely needed.

Why not? We've got the back bone of a very good squad, we've just added 2 players that missed out on promotion via play off loss (one the team captain, the other was the pots before injury according to most)! A LB which we were in need of, and got a fee for Haynes (albeit undisclosed so not much). We're almost there I think.
