Do you think he’d just say we are going to park the bus and play for a draw?
No. Like I said, I would expect him to say they are coming here to win.

World of difference away from 'we're going to attack.' Not the same thing at all and saying you are going to attack is very specific.

Let's not forget Mansfield have to win against a very good Carlisle team. The longer our game goes on without a goal from Morecambe, the more anxious Mansfield will get. Need to keep it tight, for the first part of the game anyway IMO.
Yay! You just caught Otisitis!!

Patience is key in this game, both players and fans. I think the fans will be patient as long as other results are going our way, we were very patient in the Yeovil game as I recall. What we really don't need is an early goal against.
Nor Mansfield being a goal or two up either.

That would make people nervy here at 0-0.

It's going to be a hate filled vitriolic Ricoh if we lose, so we have to make sure that doesn't happen and I really believe it won't and we will just be too strong for them.

As long as Squeaky has them all fired up we'll be fine.

Looks like it’s going to be a good crowd online

Well it's over to the team then to make sure that doesn't happen.

Looks like the memo is getting out that fans of both teams would consider 0-0 a fantastic result.

How's the Morecambe fans forum looking at the fixture for the weekend?

Morecambe have new owners this week to give the club a lift.

Club legend Jim Bentley’s job is at stake too with me owners having to decide to stick or twist of his future. Survival will likely boost that.

Looks like Morecambe play either a 343 formation or a 4231 which is how I predict they will line up this week.

I’m confident of both us and Morecambe getting the right outcome. Party time come 5pm

Bigger party time though if we win.

Can we not just do a 1977 Cov v Bristol City; just pass it between ourselves for a 0-0 draw so we end up in the play offs and they stay up on their superior goal difference?

Looking at the grey dots..looks like around 10k sold already. That's already more home fans than we got vs Lincoln.

Will be 12 to 13k home fans and about 400 max for Morecambe.

Still mighty impressive and probably the most full price paid home fans of the season in the league. And takes our average to higher than last season.

We were very patient against Yeovil? Dunno where you were sat but was the lost hostile atmosphere against their own team I’ve ever seen around me

Maybe it was numb shock, but I don't recall the fans turning on the team. I think a fair few thought we might get something from the game until the 4th went in. People were rightly angry afterwards but I've seen it a lot Worse during a game.
Edit. Not sure why the first quote is in this post.

Tend to agree. People around by me, myself included, were just numb and it was really pretty quiet as the goals kept going in.

Every chance.

We only need a draw on Saturday. Different mindset.

Yeah you believe draws at home against bottom placed teams is all good.
Sorry but if we want to go up this doesnt wash with me.

I can confirm in block 21 it got a bit toxic, tho a few around us seen the humour in the day and like been said always felt there was a way back in.

But then there was a few frothing up at Robins

What's the best app for keeping in touch with other scores? Was using BBC sport and twitter to follow the Mansfield game on Saturday but it took an age to update.

Also to the guy who told me Yeovil were 2 nil up at half time - you're a bastard.

I was just refreshing the bbc sport website and live table as well as the match thread on the mansfield forum!
